Three Times At Least
Where can we as believers look to find comfort in our faith? If we look to the scriptures, it would appear that the answer is in prayer. David said he prayed three times a day.
Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
In troubled times, David cried out to our Father in prayer, and He heard David. That’s why he called out. We too can be comforted in times of need by calling our to our Father. He loves us and will care for us. He will bring us up, and set us on high.
Psalms 107:41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people, Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Prayer For Peace
Having grown up in the 1960s, there have been many times that I have heard people discuss peace. In scriptures we see that we are encouraged to pray for peace.
Psalms 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.
Again, our Messiah also expounded on this.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Let us keep the peace, the peace with God.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, and let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of mankind. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people, Father. Restore unto Your people all the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,926.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. WE ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Asleep and Not At The Wheel
Years ago I heard a song by someone that was very outspoken. It speaks to the need for us as a group of believers to come alive and reach out to people. The person was Keith Green, and you can hear his song here. Last night I spent some time with people seeking to promote the kingdom of God here in this place. As I thought about the experience, and about outreach in general, I became even more energized to reach out to people to tell them the good news that God is on their side.
Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
Today it would be good to reach out to others, heal the sick, and tell people God is on their side.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that we might use it for our families and those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help all those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Restore Your people unto You, Father. Only You can do such miracles. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

The Joy Of Forgiveness
There is a certain relief in our ability to let go of issues that have crossed our paths. We are required to forgive others in order to be forgiven.
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
When we have been wronged, it is difficult to be forgiving, or at least it can be difficult to be forgiving. Why is that? While there may be an exact answer for this question, I do not know it. Perhaps because it is caught in our memory, tied to impulses of pain and things we felt or saw. If there is a way to turn the power of this emotion into positive drive and expectation in prayer, we know that we can have whatever we ask. Our Messiah said so. Perhaps a start is to just be thankful that we have a Messiah that does care, and that is willing to turn over to us the power of speaking things into existence.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your provision, that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Deliver us from the evil of resentment. Restore Your people unto You, Father, that they might be healed. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. Deliver us from the evil here that holds things back. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Persistence Wins
We have an amazing opportunity to make our world and our lives better than they were yesterday, and better tomorrow than today. Perhaps the biggest challenge is persistence. A famous boxer once said, “The winner is the last one to get up off the mat.” If we persist, we win!
Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
It has been established that we win. All we need to do is not give in, give up, or quit.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Restore Your people, and all that has been taken or held back from them in any way from them of that which is good, one thousand times over. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of the people here. Amen.

Hanging With The ‘Pines
We are blessed as a group of people to have families with whom we dwell. By families, I mean more than just biological or by marriage, although I include those. I also mean those that claim to care for us, and those for whom we claim to care. Scriptures speak about this.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
The animal kingdom has examples of this as well. Many species hang together in groups. But what about the groups that might be tougher to hang with? Like maybe, the porcupines? Think of all of the challenges. One ‘Pine tells a joke, and the others laugh. One falls rolling to the floor in hysteria, and BAM! Bumps into your leg and you been needled! Or another ‘Pine thinks to do good and talks to your friend “to help you” with something you struggle with and sooner or later another well meaning “Pine” comes to you with it, walking up from behind and BAM! Stuck in the back, not meaning to of course. Or the one you love gets close and BAM, You get stuck five or six times. O wait a minute… I think I just described life as a believer…
MORAL
Life is not easy. Hangin’ with the ‘Pines will get you stuck for sure. But the path to make it through has all ready been well documented. We call it scriptures…
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind here. Assumption’s Reign
One amazing attribute of humans is our uncanny ability to assume. It seems to be based on our opinion that we must be in the know. We think we know, therefore we draw conclusions from these thoughts, not from facts. These conclusions? You guessed it – they are assumptions. What often then happens is we generate more thoughts from these assumptions, and then we are off to the races! Assumptions, on assumptions, on assumptions…wow! At this point, for us personally, our assumptions are in charge of our actions and speech.
Now this becomes a particular challenge when we are in positions of “authority” in a group. That is a challenge because now that authority is in the hands of someone not driven by fact, but by assumption. That is when truly, assumptions reign. Please understand this is not a criticism of anyone in authority, for we all are in authority for at least ourselves. This is written to help us all find our way to truth. And, you can believe me when I say, I get it that this can be hard to hear. It is for me too.
Since this is an attribute known to be true to humans, how might we overcome this? There are really two parts, at least. The first is to know that we are in fact making assumptions. This is tricky. Assumptions are based on drawing conclusions not based on truth (fact), but we don not know that. We are in a place where we think we know the truth, the facts. How can we avoid that?
When we listen, resist the temptation to respond. Instead, listen to hear.
The second step is really straight forward. My response is not meant to be trite. My response – don’t assume, pray.
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
It is very important to ask ourselves:
Are we listening to hear, or are we listening to respond?
If our first reaction to a situation is to give advice, likely we are listening to respond. Only God knows, we need to ask in order to know.
Today, let’s all try not to act like we know, as if we were God. Instead, let’s all listen to hear, and then pray.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly, as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Only One
Humans often seek comfort in many ways. It could be eating. For some it is alcohol. For others drugs. Some it might be music. Maybe sex. But in truth, our inner person seeks only one comfort. That comfort is the love of our Father. It is spending time with Him. It is knowing that He is there for us at all times, and that He really cares. Since He is, the question or the challenge becomes knowing that He is. We do this in one way. By spending time with Him daily, or even more often.
Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
We must learn to trust in Him, that He is really there for us. And yet, if we will just spend time in prayer and reading scriptures, that will be the most natural thing in the world to have happen.
Psalms 119 ZAIN.
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.
Prayer

Circle Back
Sometimes when I write, I feel like I am writing the same thing that I have written many times. But that is the point, perhaps. It is about repeating the same thing over and over. Establishing the resonance of the universe is no necessary for the universe, so much, because it will follow the pattern set up by the Father. There is blessing and cursing already established in the universe. It has a pattern to it. Stepping inside that pattern exposes us to it, and we become all we are meant to become. Or at least we have the possibility to get to be more like that image. As our hearts, minds, and bodies emulate the pattern, every cell, atom, and even the spaces between the electrons begin to conform to the pattern of the image set up by God. The very energy that makes us up begins to harmonize with The Plan. Then reality around us conforms to us, instead of the other way around.
Leviticus 23:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
The secrets of the universe are in the patterns.
Search out the patterns, and follow them to the treasure.
Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Rest.
Prayer

Endurance Training
Currently I am working my way through some training to help me increase my endurance, primarily. One might say I am going through endurance training. What that means is I am doing things to build up and stretch my endurance. This will help me last longer in distance events for swimming, biking, and running. The thought of endurance made me think about how as believers we have to endure times of the trying of our patience. We have to be willing to go through certain things to get to the other side. It would make sense then that what we are doing is going through endurance training for our faith.
Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
We see hear that there will be things to endure to get to the end in victory. In Abraham’s case, it was life and learning to trust that God would bless him.
James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
When we feel like we are enduring something, it is important to spend time doing what we need to do to learn to endure. What we need to do is spend even more time with our Father in prayer, praise, and meditating on the scriptures.
Prayer
