How Did He Do It?

Today as I was thinking about our Messiah enduring the entire process of His death, I cannot wonder but how He did it. There are times I struggle with inanimate objects and say lees than great things when I hit my thumb with a hammer, for example. He was scourged and nailed up to die, and all He could do is sing, bless people, and pray for God’s forgiveness for them. I found this from David recently.

Psalms 31:5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

This is just one of the Psalms Yeshuah (Jesus) was singing from the cross. The only thing That seems reasonable to assume is that He was somehow in the midst of the persecution able to remain committed to the truth of the end, knowing what was at stake was redemption of mankind and the restoration of all things.

Wouldn’t it be great to be like Him?

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of mankind. Let Your will be done perfectly here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. We need Your mercy and Your truth in our lives. Send us now Your mercy. Restore Your people unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,877,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the believer. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

When The Enemy Speaks

Over the years as I have listened to many stories from believers, I have come to understand that often the enemy chooses to speak through those that are supposed to be close to us. That may sound extreme. It may seem like we should not even consider such a case. But, we are not so special that we should expect something different than what our Messiah has experienced.

Matthew 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

It is interesting how, at moments when breakthrough is presenting itself, we come across times when well meaning fellow Christians try to tell us how our actions do not align with what we should be doing. A perfect example is how many people meddle in the marriages of others, causing division. Our Father does not look well on those that would take such actions.

Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

And we also know that our Father loves unity.

Psalms 133 A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts, mind, and bodies of all peoples. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people Father. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way. Send in quickly the $423,877,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the believer. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah, Father, asking them of You in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 8, 6003 – August 20, 2018

We Can Beat It

Thinking again on that overwhelming feeling, it is interesting where it shows up. When we are attacked by wrongdoing, we can feel overwhelmed. When we are tempted, we can also feel that sense of being overwhelmed. But there is a slight difference.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

There are stages named here. First, there is the attraction to something that appeals to a certain person. It can be different from one person to another. The word for lust here means craving. The word for enticed means deceitful trap. The word conceived means taken prisoner. We see then that the sense of overwhelming in the case of sin begins with craving. That craving will draw a person to a place of deception that holds them, and then they become a prisoner of the craving. All of this leads to the transgression of the Law (sin), which then leads to death. Since this all has the goal of death, we can assume that the enemy is behind it. There is one way to escape this for sure.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Therefore, in that moment of being drawn away, that craving, we must resist. If we do, it will not overtake us. We will rule over it.

Praise YAH!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts, minds and bodies of the people here. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Deliver us from the evil here. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. We need You and Your deliverance from the evil here yet today Father. Show Yourself strong today. Do the might things today. Restore what the worm has eaten of Your people’s prosperity and work. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Elul 7, 6003 – August 19, 2018

Getting Started

We may look at tasks in life as overwhelming. They do not have to be that way. We can in fact not be overwhelmed. Thinking about the feeling “overwhelming” we can see that there are many times in scriptures that the writer felt this same sense. David seemed to write about it often, and our Messiah quoted him from the cross.

Psalms 37:1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.my…: Heb. to me for a rock of strength
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

If we can just remember to speak the truth to the God of truth, He will deliver us from our troubles.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here in this earth, perfectly. Let Your Kingdom come here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us, please, to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people, Father. Restore all the worm has eaten of Your people’s efforts. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah, asking them of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Shabbat, Elul 6, 6003 – August 18, 2018

Seeking Peace

It is important for us as believers to seek peace. This just seems to keep coming to me today as I pray on this Sabbath day.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Today, let’s keep the Sabbath in the bond of peace.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Shishi, Elul 5, 6003 – August 17, 2018

Just Keep Trying

There are moments in life when we make choices that matter. Actually, that may be almost continuous. It seems to me that a big part of the trick is to not fight the future battles. Don’t even fight tomorrow’s battles. Focus on the moment.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

If we will stay “in the moment”, the battles get much easier. It is never about what is way down the road. It is always about what is right here, right now. What is immediately in front of you, trying to sway you to do something off God’s path, resist that moment. Get up and move if you have to and talk to yourself saying the right thing. You may still make mistakes, but you will make fewer. And you will get better and better at making the right choices. Focus on that moment. Resistance in that moment will work!

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We can make it! Just keep trying!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, perfectly. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed against us. Forgive us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back of that which is good, and the more besides. Deliver us from the evil here, please Father, we pray. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Chamishi, Elul 4, 6003 – August 16, 2018

Thank You, Father

This morning, instead of thinking about what I do not have, I chose to think about all the blessings that our Father has bestowed upon me, which are many. I have a lovely wife, and amazing children. We have a roof over our head, and food to eat. Oh yes, and a dog. He also has given us even more, in giving us the Torah. When I hear of stories on TV or in the movies about magicians with magic spells, I just smile. We have a book. It contains blessings and curses. We activate these by our speech and out actions. Our speech comes from our heart, truly. We were born with an inheritance of a part of us that does not want to submit to our Father. He came to earth as His Son. Remaining perfect through keeping not just the letter of the Law, which He did, but the Spirit of the Law, which is on the inside. Then He laid down His life as our Passover Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

And we know that when the Passover lamb is slain and we cover ourselves with the blood, the enemy is cut off.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

This was also in place when the very first Passover was made to free the children of Israel.

Exodus 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.

As we see, this is an amazing process that we have before us. We are free to choose following our Father and enjoying our lives.

Thank you, Father, for all that You have given us and all You have done!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Deliver us from the evil here. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let their be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. We need Your mercies and Your forgiveness. Restore Your people, Father, from the inside out. Deliver us, and we will be healed. We thank You for You and for all You have done for us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask a special anointing today, Father, to bring together Your people in a spirit of unity. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah Hamashiak, asking You to for these things. Amen.

Yom R’vi’i, Elul 3, 6003 – August 15, 2018

Resisting The Pressure

Because we are in a spiritual battle, there will be significant pressure for us to give in, to give up. We must resist. How do we do that effectively? First, we must realize where that is coming from initially. Is not God.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

So then, the temptation must be from the evil one, trying to work in us and through us – the devil. Our response…

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

By our submission to God, we resist the devil. The Greek term means to arrange under a leader, from a military perspective. With our leader, God, out front, the devil has no means of getting to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly, as it is in heaven. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil, and heal our hearts and minds in these matters, wiping away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us now, Father. Restore Your people unto You. And restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of people. We ask all these things of you Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Shlishi, Elul 2, 6003 – August 14, 2018

All Together

It takes all of us working together to make it to the end. As it turns out, we face certain challenges based on our drive in life to get to the end. We must drive towards a goal to reach it. If we lose sight of our goal, we will end up somewhere else. We must stay on track with our goal to make it to the end. We will drive towards the goal we envision – our inner pilot will just steer in that direction. If we are all going towards the same goal, then we will most certainly make course corrections for one another. And like in racing cars or bikes, we will draft off of each others’ efforts, making it easier over all for all of us.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

A portion of the “we” that we are a part of is our Messiah, Yeshuah. He took on Abraham and not angels so that He could be the high priest He needed to be to make reconciliation for us. While salvation of the body, heart, and mind is individual to each person, there is also a certain element of this that is about all of us together. It is important that we are all in this together.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven, with Your kingdom coming here in the hearts and minds of mankind. We need You here, Father. Send us Your provision that we need today, Father. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore the hearts of Your people unto You, Father. It is easy for us as humans to stray from the target. Help us stay on track. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, Father, and the more besides. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of those that need You. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 1, 6003 – August 13, 2018

We Are Winners!

In the grand scheme of things, as I often heard phrased as a young person, there are overlying drivers in life. Specifically, God is in control. As difficult as it may be to understand how one being can oversee literally everything everywhere all the time, He does.

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

We can and we will win, because that is what our Father has ordained. By winning I am not referring to the lottery, or to the next football game; I am referring to life. We can and will have a complete and peaceful life if we call out to Him and expect His deliverance. Let’s call upon Him, and show our love for Him in all things we do.

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here in this earth as it is in heaven so perfectly. Deliver us from the evil here. Send us now Your provision that we might use it to help ourselves and those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil that would cause us to stray from You. Restore Your people unto Yourself, Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak, asking them of You, Father. Amen.
