Reaching For Something

This morning as I thought back on all that has transpired, I see my life as always reaching for something. Likely that is a good trait. But like all traits, not submitted to our Father, it does not work out for us. These moments of reflection seem to help sort out life. I find myself more likely to be willing to try to hear what YAH is saying to me. And it makes it so much easier to remain thankful. Above all else today, I want to remember to be a thankful person.

Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

So today as I ponder all that has been and will be, I rejoice in the ability to sit being thankful unto my Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. O, that we might see the same perfection that is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. We want to be a part of Your plan to reach mankind. Help us, Father, to do Your will. It is difficult sometimes because of all that lies within us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Restore unto Your people all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom. Like David, we rejoice in Your salvation. We rejoice in Your Yeshuah. You are Yeshuah. We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Fighting For Change

Often we as believers think about various challenges in life as battles. We fight battles as Christian soldiers, marching off to war, as the song goes. But much of the time the battles are in our hearts and minds. When that happens, what is it we are fighting for, exactly? The answer is often simpler than we make it. The answer is – change.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Prayer
We love You Father! Let us change to be more like You! You are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of Mankind. Let Your perfect will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Let it overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people Father. It is time. This is the time when we need You most of all. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides, of that which is good. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of all mankind. It’s Your kingdom, Father. Let it rise truthfully in mankind. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name above all names, YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Imagining The Future

We have a belief system in place, regardless of whether or not we believe in God, our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus), His death and resurrection, etc. Our belief system is really what we expect to happen to us and for us. Those who reject scripture have their own beliefs about life. Those that accept scripture have their own beliefs about life. A question for us as believers in God, what do we really believe? Do we believe based on experience solely? If so, then we will speak and “live into” that belief. The future we imagine is the past we have already lived, only with more time added to it, engrounding our beliefs even further. Or we can take scripture, and consider what it would mean for it to be true. We can imagine what those scriptures would look like to be true in our own lives. We can pray and ask our Father for wisdom regarding that manifestation in our lives. We can spend time dwelling on that manifestation. Then we can imagine that future. We will begin to expect that future to come to pass. When that gets into our heart, we will know, because it will begin to come out of our mouth. We will act like it is coming true and take those appropriate actions.

One of the actions we are told to be doing is to build one another up. We need to see what the scriptures have to say in this regard, and then do them.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

We can give ourselves to something. In fact, wee will because that is a part of life. But we can choose what it is that we will give ourselves to today. We cannot be concerned about tomorrow. We must move forward with today. We can do this today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us Your overwhelming provision that we might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love and caring for us. Restore Your people Father, better than ever. Restore unto Your people all that has been eaten by the worms of life. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind here. Give us the wisdom to walk like our Messiah walked in love and forgiveness. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Av 16, 6003 – July 30, 2018

It’s The Future

Growing up my father often said to me, “If I could be as young as you are and know what I know now…” Back then I never really understood this point. Today, I understand it much better. The older we get, the more inputs our brain has processed. The more we are attuned to all that is in this world, or at least our portion of it. That may help us through the day, as we know what is coming or what to expect. But then, that can also be the problem. We expect what we are accustomed to so far. We are anticipating the future from the past experiences. And without some intervention, likely we will create a future that is just like the past. Many of us might want to create a better future. If we return to the original statement, one choice we can choose is to think about what we want to see happen, and expect that to happen.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And we can renew our mind by saying what our Father said already in scriptures.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

We cannot look at our past and be constrained by our failures to follow our Father the perfect way we would want to follow Him. We must be willing to pray to see our Father’s will for us, to understand what He wants for us. Then we can let our faith control what we expect, and not our history.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people Father. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken of held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God – Your kingdom, Father – here in this earth. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah Hamashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 15, 6003 – July 29, 2018

Knowing He Will

There is a difference between knowing God CAN do something and knowing He WILL do something. That difference is very important to all of us, really. We can think of it like a balancing point. Almost winning, which is really never quite getting there, on the CAN side. Success, victory, and God’s true reign on the WILL side. For many life is spent firmly on the CAN end, with the balance stuck to the ground. Some may occasionally venture toward that fulcrum in the middle. But if we want what we have been promised, then by faith we need to boldly walk or run past that tipping point and plant that balance firmly in the ground of WILL. As long as we stand on that end, we will continue to see our Father bring those things to pass.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

And again…

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So, we can be comforted knowing He WILL. We only need abide in our Father and Messiah.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your perfect will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Deliver us from the evil that would beset us. Restore Your people unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold, all that has been taken or held back of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts and minds of mankind. We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Rest In Trusting God

We can rest in our trust of our Father. Perhaps I said that wrong. We can rest in our Father because we can trust Him. Maybe that is the same thing. One thing I know is that we need to be able to find our way, and only He can show that to us.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

We can rest, trusting in our Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. WE need You and we need Your love. REstore unto Your people all that has been eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Deliver us from the evil here. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom here. Help us. WE ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Making The Best Of It

There are so many different attitudes in life. We can approach life like it is overwhelming and we have no chance at coming out on top. We can approach it like adversity does not exist, ignoring it, and calling that faith. Or another way is to see and deal with what is around us, and at the same time press forward fully expecting the surprise end result where we have what our Father has revealed to us that He would give to us. The latter is that better place to strive to reach, I would suggest. I am not speaking like someone that has made it, but rather like someone that is striving to understand, and to walk it out. If we know that we must believe in God and that He is on our side to be able to eagerly expect the outcome, than a focu on Him seems essential.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

We can make this a possibility by taking the time to meditate on His Law.

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

That means to mumble it to ourselves while imagining it! And check out what happens when we do.

Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

So, we do need to live here and make the best of our situation. But we are not called to speak what is or has been, but what is to be. We speak the Law into existence.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your perfect will be done here just as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Let it overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. We need You and Your deliverance from the evil here. Restore Your people unto You, Father. Restore unto Your people all that has been eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom og God – Your kingdom Father – in the hearts and minds of mankind here. We think of Your Law and Your promises. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak (Lord Jesus Christ), asking them of You Father. You alone can do these things. Amen.

Because We Are Not Alone

It seems like each time I try to sit down to think about what to be thankful to God for at that moment, it becomes very challenging. The challenge is, how do I ever limit it to just one thing. This morning as I await the sunrise, one thing stands out. We are not alone. Our Father did not create the universe, and then leave for vacation. He is always available for advice.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

He has already established the outcome.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

He will never leave us.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

So, we are never alone. We have a Father that is on our side and cares for us. I am so thankful that I do not have to figure this deal out on my own, or make it hapen all by myself. Praise YAH!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow from us to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God – Your kingdom Father – in the hearts and minds of all mankind here. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Fighting Falling Back

Growing up with the famous John Wayne movies, WWII was a very recent memory for many. Now, not so much. There have been great movies since, and today with modern technologies they are far more graphic. But in all of these battles, I remember that when the troops were being overwhelmed and had to “fall back” to another position, they would keep fighting as they went. Thinking about it now, it was not really surrender or retreat, it was establishing a more secure position. That position was just not as far forward as they were at one point. This is important to remember in spiritual warfare as well. Being human, we will make mistakes and get things wrong. To get things right we just keep fighting.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

When we are in the battle, which is really every day of our lives, we need to remember to keep moving forward. Keep speaking scriptures, even if we fail to keep them. Keep calling out to our Father for help, even in our sins. Keep saying what we want to see change, even when what is going on around us makes that look impossible.

Keep fighting while falling back.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed of transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and in our hearts and minds. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore us, Father. Restore Your people unto You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts and minds of all mankind here. Yom Shlishi, Av 10, 6003 – July 24, 2018

Together

This morning in speaking with someone I was reminded how important it is for us all to remember each other. By that I mean, we are all in this life together, trying to make it. We are meant to care for one another. The person who called was struggling from the stresses of an intense work load. They needed a leg up, if you will. For them it showed up like mini panic attacks, and some times vertigo. It is different for each of us. But we are not meant to be the one person alone with all the answers. It just does not work like that for anyone.

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Love one another. Our Messiah said it best.

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts of mankind here in this earth. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.
