Reformatting Your Life

As a general rule, humans resist change. Not really sure why that is, but it does seem true. Perhaps it is because we fear what we do not know or understand? That could be. But part of the issue with resistance to change might be how we view the change process. I like to compare it to reformatting a page using a computer.

The page needs changing. There might be a need for additions, some deletions, and just the look, and feel. Maybe some of the text is clunky and just has no flow. All of these things can be modified. In the end, what we had is changed and far more presentable. People have an easier time understanding it. We like how it reads and flows. Our lives can be changed, can be reformatted in much the same way. To do that we use prayer, song, and scripture to help us “reformat” what our Father has already ordained as good – He sees the end from the beginning.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Let’s do some reformatting today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be Your servants in the earth to reformat it to Your will. Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. Please come quickly to our aid. In You is our only hope. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Stand Up!

We are called to do something great, everyone of us. That something great is to promote and move forward the kingdom of our Father. We can do this because of who our Father is. He is King and He is the one that planned the end from the beginning.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

If we will be diligent to pursue God, and turn to Him when we have turned away, He will turn to us and bring to pass that which He declared from the beginning.

We can make a stand!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom come here, and let us help to bring it here. Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal up the scars inside, and wash them away with no memory of the hurts and pains. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys. restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Rise up, King. Take a stand now. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Helpful Times In Life

We can tend to look at times of challenge as something to be feared or troubled. We do not need to have such concerns because our Father is watching over us at all times. In these times of challenge, just knowing that our Father watches over us can be encouragement to go on. Scriptures can be the source of this encouragement, because they tell us that indeed our Father watches over us.

Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

It can be a struggle if we look to our circumstances. But if we look to the scriptures, and cry out to our Father, we can obtain the courage to stand.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Help us to usher Your kingdom into this earth. Let us be Your vessels. Send us now Your overwhelming provision, so great such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal up and cleanse our internal wounds in our hearts and minds. Heal our bodies. Deliver us from the thief that kills and destroys. Restore unto us Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. We ask all these things oin the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Because Of Him

We all come from different backgrounds. Some are excellent, others not so much. Regardless of background, good or bad, we can move forward with confidence that God will prevail. Our confidence does not (or should not) come from what we think of our abilities. Our confidence should be in who our Father is and what He has done. He alone can make things right.

Proverbs 3:23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

We must not allow ourselves to place confidence or lack of confidence in ourselves. We must look to our Father for His acceptance and guidance and mercy. Then we can know and have confidence in Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom reign in this earth, and let us help to usher it in here. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive each of us our sins, and help us to forgive those that have sinned against us. Heal us up on the inside. Cleanse our hearts and minds that we might serve You. Replace woulds and scars with Your love and mercy. Deliver us from the thief that kills and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. We cry out for mercy. We cry out for Your love. We can only hope in You, Father. We fail, and other men fail, but You never fail. Send us today Your love. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Where Courage Lives

This morning when I woke up I felt somewhat overwhelmed. There was much to be done and I found myself focusing on the what if it doesn’t question. That gave place to doubt and fear, which is powerful when we buy in to it. But then I began to think about the situation and think of solutions. Then I sat down to type here, focusing on our Father. He has delivered me, my family, friends, people I know, and people in scriptures from countless adversaries and circumstances. He will continue to so do. Remembering these past victories was helpful to me to build my faith back up, and to overcome doubts. None of this is new, so what can we take away for ourselves?

Psalms 59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

Sing praises to our Father in the morning, and at all times. He is worthy to be praised. And when we praise Him we remember what He has already done. That will drive out the fear.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom be with us in this earth, and let us be the tool in Your hands to make the earth what it was meant to be. Send us now Your overwhelming provision, so much such that we cannot hold it all. Heal us from the inside of our hearts and our minds. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Rise up, Father, and gather Your people from the destroyers, and smite them that they would fall back. Restore Your people beyond measure, as in the day of the Exodus. Restore us quickly, Father. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

It Takes Courage

It is not always easy to trust, even God. But going back and reading that sentence, it just seems really odd. Why would it be difficult to trust our Father, especially after we have seen and read so many wonderful stories of deliverance? The answer is our fallen nature, created in the garden where people surrendered their belief to our enemy. Since that moment, that seed of doubt has been with us.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

We have within us the ability to choose to doubt. We have the ability to overpower that which is in us, with our mouth.

Deuteronomy 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

If we will open our mouth and encourage ourselves, we will have the courage to trust our Father Yahuah.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us. Deliver us from the thirf. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Return

Zechariah 1:2 The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

Regardless of political offiliation, I think all believers would admit these are challenging times for our faith. Let us pray that as a nation, we will return to our Father and His commandments, and He will turn to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Father, we ask that You help us to bring Your kingdom to this earth, that the whole world might align itself with Your commandments and Your love for us. Send us now Your overwhelming provision, so much that we cannot contain it all. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up from the inside. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

If We Continue

WE find ourselves as believers in a most unusual position. We know going in to a battle that we are the winners. In any particular skirmish, we may suffer what appear to be set backs. But at the end of the day, we will be able to look back and see that we won the war, if we continue steadfast to the end.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

We have been given many promises. We inherit these promises through patience and faith. Here are a few I like to remember.

Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Today, let us resolve to continue in patience and faith, not waivering.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your kingdom be established here through us. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds that we might serve you all the more. Heal up our hearts and minds that we might love one another. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Heart Of The Matter

Believers are called to address the condition and content of their hearts and minds. From time to time for many of us their are feelings, emotions, and thoughts in our hearts and minds that are not good, that are not in alignment with the scriptures. What God has said should be in our hearts and minds has been written for us as a record that could be revisited. When we are off the mark, it is easy to feel condemned. However, we are not condemned.

Romans 1:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Let’s revisit the process and the explanation will become clearer. We allow ourselves to feel or think something wrong. We enjoy it at the moment. Even the scriptures attest to this.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

But because the Law is written in our heart (the New Covenant), we feel the clash between the two. We are then convicted of our sin (transgression of the Law) because we were transformed at our new birth. We have something within us that is telling us to turn from the sin and turn to Yahuah. We will not be condemned if we will make that turn. We need to acknowledge the conviction, seek forgiveness through the redemptive blood of Yehsua (Jesus), and turn to walk after Yahuah.

This is a very freeing thought. When reading Romans 1:1, a believer might feel they are condemned because they are not perfect. That is not correct. One must consider all of the scripture. When we do, we will see that there is a process to our everyday lives that leads to life!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah. Let Your kingdom be with us. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts. Heal our minds. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. Show us a sign for good. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Keep It Going

Great news! This just in! Though we are still fighting now, we have already won! Wouldn’t it be strange to see the headline pronouncing victory for our soldiers as if the war was already over, yet they are still in the battle? Yet, it is this unique position we as believers find ourselves in as it relates to our walk with our Father. We are in the battle daily, but He has already declared us the winners.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

He has declared us His people, winners of the battle over evil, from the beginning.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Let Your kingdom be with us. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us, and deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. Bring wealth to Your people suddenly, that they might promote Your kingdom throughout the earth. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
