Grab Hold When You Get The Chance

When we call our to God, He hears us. Yahuah is a great and merciful Father. He always responds to the cries of His children. He wants us to be following Him in His ways. This is why He trains us up. But when we cry out repeatedly for His deliverance, when He brings it by, we must grab hold and not let go. As I thought about the scriptures, there was one that seemed to fit well here.

Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Today, let us remember to lay hold to that salvation, that deliverance provided to us, and never let go.

Prayer
Father, we exalt you. You are our King. We praise the name Yahuah (Lord)! Let Your kingdom be among us. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing so great that we cannot hold it all and it overflows to those around us. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds, anointing them with healing oil. Deliver us from the evil that would steal from us what you alone have provided. We ask all these things int eh name of our Messiah Yeshuah. Amen.

Still Have To Care For The Chickens

Today, continuing from yesterday, I was quite ill. The flu, I believe. I tried to get up and do a few things, but the more I did the worse it got. Finally I laid down to rest. In the afternoon, I remembered I had not been out to see the chickens since yesterday morning. Regardless of how I felt, they still needed me. Even if I was sick and it was the Sabbath. As I went out in the rain to care for them, I was reminded of a scripture when the Messiah healed on the Sabbath. The leaders of the day wrongfully accused Him of breaking the Sabbath, just as the leaders of today wrongfully tell us we do not have to keep the Sabbath.

Matthew 12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The Master has spoken. I choose His words. The chickens are taken care of, I rest, and all is well.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise and bless the name Yahuah (Lord). Send today Your overwhelming blessing that overflows our ability to hold it. Release Your ministering spirits to battle for the release of it. Forgive us our sins. Heal us today. Deliver us today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Get Another Chance

Earlier this week I met with a friend of mine to share about our walks and what God is doing with us. He mentioned something he had heard from another friend about how we get to revisit the same trials until we have victory. This person asked God why we keep revisiting the same trials, like a circle. God told him it is not a circle, but a spiral upward. Each time we revisit the “same event” we are actually farther down the road with God, and have an improved opportunity for victory. We learn day by day to walk the walk of faith in Yahuah (Lord).

Psalms 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

We get the opportunity to have Yahuah (Lord) build our house (us) with us, side by side. We can make it if we try. If we will turn to Him at all times, He will lift us up to victory.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King and the Champion of our souls. We long to have You and Your kingdom here on the earth. We call to You, and bless the name Yahuah. We call to You and ask You send Your overwhelming provision that we might bless others. We call to You and ask that You forgive our sins. We call to You and ask that You heal us. We call to You and ask that You deliver us from those that would steal what You alone have provided to us. We call to You for Your deliverance with an outstretched arm and a strong hand. We call to You and ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Mercy Is Good

Today when we think of mercy many different images can come to mind. For some it might be the workings of missionary physicians helping the poor around the world. For some it might be kindness shown to prisoners of war. For others it could be the assistance from the government in times of need like national disaster. We as believers have a model of mercy from almost the beginning of time. God was merciful to mankind at the garden when we rebelled against God and believed the enemy more than we did what He had instructed. Instead of wiping man out and starting over, He gave us the opportunity to learn and grow.

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Yahuah (Lord) would have been justified to kill us off and start over. But instead He chose to allow us to live and to learn from Him. We are all on that original journey, trying to learn His ways and walk in them. We are each successful to varying degrees and at different times. But there is good news. God is on our side. All we have to do is trust Him.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Our God deals with us not according to who we are, but according to who He is.

Psalms 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

For that, we can be thankful.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our God and our King. We need You and Your kingdom in our lives. You alone are worthy to be praised, and we praise the name Yahuah!. Send us today Your overwhelming provision, and let us bless others as well. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil that steals from us and afflicts us. Destroy such evil in the earth on our behalf Father. Come quickly with a strong hand and outstretched arm to deliver Your people. In Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Sometimes In Inches

Sometimes when we are battling our enemy, we win big battles. Often, we win by inches. Each time we fight the enemy we have the opportunity to be strengthened. We have the opportunity to learn. One of the chief things we learn is to trust in our Father, knowing that He is on our side and will come to our aide, always. This includes our learning to trust in Him.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

We learn something. Then we get a chance to apply what we learned through some experience. This strengthens what we learned, and possibly gives us opportunity to expand the areas in which we have learned to trust Him. He will continue this work in us to the end, and we will continue to defeat our enemy in the process.

Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

It can be frustrating to move through our walk with Him slowly. We want life to move faster, we want to improve faster, we want the obstacles of life to move on faster. But they move at the pace our Father Yahuah (Lord) wants them to move. He has a plan for us, and He will not fail. Praise Yahuah!

Prayer
Father, we praise and exalt You. You are our Majesty, our King. We bless the name Yahuah!. Let Your kingdom reign here on the earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that we might not hold it all and it overflows to those around us. We long for Your loving arms to hold us. Forgive us our sins. Let Your love overrun us. Let Your love overrun our finances. Let Your love overrun our physical healing needs. Let Your love overrun our inner healing needs. Deliver Your people with a strong hand. Stretch out Your arm and drive back the evil that is stealing from us what You have provided. Crush the works of evil that all men might know that You alone are the true and living King! Praise You! Praise You, Yahuah! You are King! We ask these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Lift One Another Up

Last night and this morning I became aware that there are times I become negative and frustrated by the actions of others. This is not good. We are each responsible to God for ourselves. There are more than enough things for me to work on in life without my focusing on what others need to do. I want to be more like Yeshuah (Jesus), and I am sure all the people that I am speaking about want to as well. Instead of being negative, it is important to lift others up. It is important to help people feel that God really does love them and care about them. We each have such a mission in life, I believe, from what Paul said.

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

We need to be at peace with our brothers and sisters in the Messiah. There will be days ahead where we will need each other very much. Let us today sing praises to Yahuah and glorify Him, that we may be found worthy to build one another up.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We desperately need Your kingdom on earth. We bless Your holy name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision such it is more than we can hold and it overflows to others. Forgive us our sins, for we are frail and weak. Heal up and strengthen our hearts. Deliver us with a strong hand and outstretched arm from those that are stealing from us. Deliver us today Father. We ask all these things in the name of the Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Courage To Encourage

This day was challenging. Much transpired, and it got away from me altogether. Some days when I have struggles and doubts, it is a challenge for me to lift my head to encourage others. But My God never fails to encourage me, even in these troubled times. Here is a word for those that need such encouragement.

Psalms 59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

Praise God for His deliverance!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We bless the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us for our sins. Heal and deliver us. Come quickly. In Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Our Father Hears Us

This morning as I was waking up, my mind filled with thoughts of the day. I resisted that to spend time praising Yahuah (Lord) and thanking Him for being my King. If I let it, my mind and my heart will drift into focusing on the things of this life very quickly, from the moment I wake. For me, I have to fight back and get my mind going in the right direction thinking about God and talking to Him. As I was praying to the Father about a specific question, a psalm cam to mind.

Psalms 3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

We have a Father that truly cares for us. He created the earth and everything in it. We can trust Him to meet our needs. If we will ask, He will provide.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. We call You King. We cry out for Your kingdom to be here on this earth. Send us Your overwhelming provision today. Let it overflow from us to those around it because we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and deliver us from the fears and terrors that try to attach themselves to our hearts. Father, there is a great evil in the earth that is stealing from Your people. We are enslaved by it and made poor by it. We need Your deliverance. We need You to come with a strong hand and an outstretched arm and smite the evil. Crush its works. Deliver the wealth of the wicked to Your people Father. We need You. We need You. Come now and save us. We ask these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Meditating On Wisdom

This morning my wife and I talked about several scriptures about Yahuah’s (Lord’s) wisdom. They were about how sometimes the unbelievers are more wise in their discerning of good and evil than we believers. Then there was the wisdom of Solomon in understanding who the baby really belonged to and who was lying. And the scriptures in general that speak of God giving us wisdom. There are so many, but here is one that speaks to these collectively.

Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

Today, as we are keeping the Sabbath, I think of the wisdom that Yahuah (Lord) has given to us. He wants His children to follow Him and spend time with Him. He is our source, not our jobs, not our businesses, and not our bank accounts. He alone is worthy to be considered in that spot in out heart.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the Living King of the universe. Please send us Your overwhelming provision that we might not have any debt, and plenty to overflow to those around us. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us from those that would steal from us what You alone have provided. We need Your mighty hand against the evil that steals and destroys. We ask these things in Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Watching The Father

Today was an interesting day. I had a plan. God had a different plan. Throughout the day I would receive clues about the Father’s plan, and I noticed them, and then saw them come to pass. It began when I went to get out of bed and had a miraculous healing of my leg. Wow! God is awesome! He is teaching me to “see” what He is doing, and then to step into that! The Father loves us and wants only the best for us. If we can learn from our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus), we can learn to do what we see the Father doing, and say what the Father tells us to say.

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

I am only just scratching the surface here, but I am very excited to watch what the Father unveils in the coming days!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King! We bless the name Yahuah! We ask that You send us Your overwhelming abundant provision. Heal the broken hearted. Deliver us from those that would steal all that You have provided. Crush their evil devices to powder. Bring their words upon themselves so that they know that You alone are God! We ask these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
