Never Let The Enemy Win
We all face challenges in our walk with God. We can certainly feel overwhelmed and at times, give in to attacks of the enemy and fall into sin. From this we might think that the enemy has won, and be overwhelmed with sorrow. We should truly feel sadness for departing from our Father and His Law, for sin is transgression of the Law.
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
But the enemy only wins when we stop. As long as we get back up, we win. As long as we repent from the sin and turn back to our Father and His ways, we win. In this way, we never let the enemy win.
Today, if you stumble, cry out to our Father, turn to Him, and get back up.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You are our Healer. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Blessings And Honor
This phrase is often used in songs and prayers. It is also used in a modified form in the scriptures. We find it in the book of Revelations.
Revelations 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
In this particular passage there are people in whites robes saying this around the throne, and the Lamb dwells with them. Their robes were made white by the blood of the lamb. These people could be us, because we are made pure by the blood of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) the lamb. We are the ones to cry, “Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.”
As we think about the great things our Father has done for us, we can be assured that we are set apart unto Him. This is a great place for us to be, truly a blessing unto us, and for that we can give our Father thanks and praise.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are king. You alone are worthy of blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, for ever and ever. Praise the name Yahuah! You are our Deliverer. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Not Flesh And Blood
It is challenging in this world not to be distracted by all that we see and hear around us. There are plenty of “wrongs” for us to get caught up in objecting to as we observe the happenings around us. Yes, there are people in positions of “power” that seem to be not as good as we would like. Yes, there can be seeming injustices that take place in our world. But if we focus on what we can see, we will miss the true enemy that we cannot see. If we want to battle and win, then we must correct our focus.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
This is our calling and these are our weapons. We do need to oppose evil, but we need to oppose it on a spiritual plain.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy. You alone are King. We praise the name Yahoo! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

A Voice Heard
Today in Indiana it is a voting day. It was interesting to see how many people turned out at the polling places. As I observed the ritual (in which I also participated) it reminded me of times in scripture when men cried out for a king.
1 Samuel 8:1 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.
2 Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beer–sheba.
3 And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.
4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,
5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord.
7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.
This is a topic which I have considered for many years. It is one I struggle with as a citizen of the United States. Perhaps we should give it thought at times like these. Are we making the same mistake made by the children of Israel beck then? I do no have the answer, only the tears from weeping about our similarities.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are king. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Reaching The Crowds
Today, a friend of mine told me of an event where he was told by a man of God about a future ministry where my friend would speak to crowds of large numbers. It was encouraging to hear my friend speak of this potential opportunity. He was very enthusiastic about the chance to impact many lives. As I listened, it also made me think how we all have a purpose in life. We all have one or more things we are meant to do. For many, this idea remains a challenge. How do these things come to pass?
Psalms 75:1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
It is a marvelous thing to consider, that our Father chooses each of us to do what we are meant to do. Praise God!
Prayer

Say It Is So
Our world is filled with hustle and bustle. We have many things to do to keep us busy. In the midst of all that, we can become so busy that things start to get a little crazy and our of whack. If we are not careful, when that happens the next thing can be to feel overwhelmed. Even if we let things go that far, it is not too late. We can cry out to our Father, and together we can change it.
Psalms 18:1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
First we cry to our Father Yahuah (Lord). He hears us from His temple. We are His temple. He hears from within us when we call to Him. If we will speak what He speaks, scriptures, then we will have the power to get back on track.
Deuteronomy 30:9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
This is our very present help in a time of trouble, a time when the hustle and bustle gets to be too much.
Today, let’s call upon Yahuah, and speak scriptures to ourselves. Watch how He shows up to chase away the enemies and raise us up!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the only true King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision that we might have food, clothing, shelter, and no debt. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and our minds. Help us to overcome the overwhelm. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Some Days Resting Feels Good
On the Sabbath we spend time with our Father. Like Him, we rest from our normal work.
Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Some days, just resting feels better than others. This is one of those days for me. The resting feels very good.
On this Sabbath, spend time with our Father. And rest.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Bless You Father. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil one, the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Make A Difference
As believers we are in a very unique position. We have been freed from the bondage of slavery to a dark task master, the enemy of our souls. Freedom is a powerful thing. It can work for us our against us. How I mean that is we are again free to choose, everyday, just as Adam and Eve were initially. We do not have to be bound to darkness and sin. We can choose the good or the bad, with a clear ability to choose.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
We have the power to accept the truth because we have the power to say and then hear the truth.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
We know that we can have the New Covenant as a result, which is the Law written on our hearts and minds.
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And Paul verifies these things.
Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
And in these things we have freedom because we know the truth that our Messiah paid the price and we are free.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Free people, a truly free people, can make a difference. Let’s make a difference today!
Pray
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming blessing and provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus).

Giving Thanks
As I thought today about giving thanks, I wondered all that it might mean. It was the word “giving” that seemed to stand out for me. It is something we give away, and our Father receives it. As I thought about how I feel when someone says thank you to me, How good it makes me feel. Imgagine how our Father feels when so many of His children, all at the same time, say thank you to Him. It must feel like we feel when all of our children are gathered around us and all say thank you. Today, I simply want to give Him thanks, and encourage all to do the same, thinking of how we honor Him when we do it.
Psalms 138:1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! We thank You for all You are and do. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up inside, heal our wounds. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Power In Thinking
Recently our Father helped me to find an answer to a question that I had been asking Him. I have heard many people talk about visioning in the mind what we want to have or to have happen. For me, there seemed to be a difference between the strength of different things I can “see” through imagination in my mind. There have been times when the things I imagine have a greater clarity or almost 3D like quality. Other times they are “flat” more like forced fleeting pictures. It has been easy for me to pray for the former with conviction. The latter not so much. The challenge for me comes in wanting to please the Father and pray for what He wants me to pray for with faith. Last evening He showed me a way to add strength to those things I ask in prayer.
When evil thoughts come in any form, they can be intense. For me they usually come with strong emotion or even mental pictures. When this happened and I was trying to fight it off, I imagined one of the things I had been praying for happening in my mind. Suddenly that image of good took over the negative image but had the same “strength” of vision and force. This morning I have been trying to do this as well, and so far it is successful. I am not saying that these prayers will come to pass. I am still working on these prayers. What I am saying for sure is I can get rid of the evil and overtake it with good if I do this substitution at the moment of the evil that comes against my mind. Certainly using this to add power to that which is good will not be a bad thing, and I can escape the grips of evil.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
There is one more thing I do know so far. We must add to this thinking the words from our mouth.
Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
