There Is A Plan

Life can feel like we are just going through the motions. When that happens it feels as though we are adrift, aimlessly traveling through time. But that is not so. We are not adrift. We are traveling according to the pan that has been established from before the earth was formed.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

There is a future set for us that is good. To find it and get to it, we need only to seek our Father with all our heart. Then He will be found of us, and make our ways straight.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Help us find our way. Send us today Your abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up from the inside. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Little Signs

This morning, just now, as I was beginning to write, I was pondering what to say. For me and a few people I know, there is are a few weeks ahead of significant effort and change. When change comes, it can be challenging to change with it. We are people that like doing things the way we do them. Add to that the fact that our enemy tries to prevent any change for the good. As I thought about how all this might go, I was struggling with also knowing we all are human, and we will make mistakes. I was getting a little nervous about how we might move forward and what might happen. Inside I began calling out to our Father. Right at that moment, on this a bit gloomy day in a string of gloomy days, the bright sun popped through the clouds, and illuminated the bright green forest behind my house. It made me happy, so beautiful, and I knew our Father was hearing my prayers. It was then that I knew all would be well. And now it has happened again, a second, confirming sign that He is listening.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Today, as you look to your future prayerfully, listen for our Father to speak, look for Him to show you that He hears You. He gives us all little signs.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins, Heal us up from the inside. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. So much evil has come to get in the way of Your kingdom Yahuah. Rise up Father. Come for Your people now. Show us a sign for good that all might know that You alone are our King, that You alone have done it. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Birth And Rest

In the beginning. our Father birthed an entire universe in six days. On the sixth day He created mankind. He “gave birth” to all humanity, if you will, on the very last work day.

Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

And then, it was the Sabbath, time for a rest.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

We are made in our Father’s image. That means we are meant to be beings like Him. If we meditate on that a bit, it can change our view of life.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. Amen.

Anticipation And Celebration

This morning upon waking my mind was a little fuzzy from the great sleep I was having. With a busy day ahead and a great week behind me, my mind began to fill with many thoughts. Some good, some not so good, and I was quickly faced with choices. But I have recently been writing our cards and reading them aloud. These cards contain scriptures and other positive thoughts. This provided the ammunition for battle. All I had to do was fire. I began praising our Father and speaking scriptures.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

The impact was immediate. The enemy fled from such resistance.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Today, we can speak what our Father says, and through our resistance make the enemy flee!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Blessed be the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up and deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We May Not Know

Today it occurred to me that often we pray and ask our Father to help us. Life goes on and we sometimes think that nothing is happening with our prayer. The question is, how do we judge that decision? We can judge based on our physical perception. But is that the best way to jude, is that the only way to judge? Perhaps not to both. Perhaps a better way to judge is to go by what the scriptures say.

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

It seems that our Messiah said that what we ask, He will do. Obviously, it has to align with the path that our Father has laid out, with His will and His ways. But He will do it. So, the question we must ask and answer for ourselves is, do we believe what our Messiah said? If so, then we have it.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So if we do believe the scriptures, then we should know that we have our petition. If we believe that, then what would be a reasonable response? The answer can be found in asking the same question about what we request from others here on earth. If we ask someone for something and they give it to us, what do we say? Thank you.

Today, let’s thank our Father for giving us what we ask when we ask, and then wait with eager expectation (hope) for it to come to pass.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Thank You for hearing us. Thank You for granting our petitions. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up inside. We are a broken people. Mend us Father. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

As Though

This morning I was thinking about people having certain challenges in life, people like me and you. For many years I was terrified, or at least a little afraid, to reach out to strangers and speak to them. Thinking about that, I thought of the value of some of the different communications I can offer to people. For example, I work with people in the area of financial development, personal development, and professional development. The information in these areas is transformational to say the least. But if I do not reach out to anyone, then do I really care for them? What do the scriptures say?

Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

If we truly believe that the people that do not know our Messiah are in bondage to the enemy, how can we say nothing? If we truly believe that what we have something great to offer, do we care enough for those in need to share hope with them? These are the words in my head today.

Today, let’s give others hope and destroy the works of the enemy!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming blessing of abundant provision, the bread of this world and the Bread of Life. Forgive us our sins. Heal us inside and out. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold both spiritual and physical that which has been stolen. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Use The Stones They Throw

It seems inevitable in life that there will be naysayers that come along to tear us down with their words. They hurl them like stones from a catapult, sometimes intentionally. They think they do us service. They do not. But we can pick up these very stones, adjust them, and use them to build something even bigger and stronger, with our Father’s help.

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

If we choose to fuel the drive for good within us from the negatives thrown our way, we will have all the resources necessary to drive us closer to our Father and farther on His path for our lives.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds and set them apart to You. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Waking Up To New

This morning as I write looking into the green forest behind my home, I can here our two roosters calling out to everyone that the sun has been up for a while. Thinking about how they crow each morning, I thought about how it announces a new day. Scientists say it is about announcing their territory. But they start their day like this everyday. It does not matter what the previous day brought to them. Each day they treat as a brand new beginning. It encouraged me to think that we can do this as well, if we will try.

Lamentations 3:21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

Our morning prayers and hope in Yahuah (Lord) is our morning call, our morning crowing, demonstrating that we believe we have a new day. We need not consider our past – yesterday, last week, last month, last year – they are not here now. What is here is today. This day.

Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

Today let us wake up to a new day, come in the name of Yahuah (Lord), and let him send us prosperity.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision and prosperity. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yahuah (Jesus). Amen.

Mother’s Day 2016

Today we celebrate a day dedicated to moms everywhere. We are thankful for all they have done for us. For some there may have been struggles, but in the end our heavenly Father will make up any shortcomings between us and our moms. Without them, none of us would be here. It is important that we recognize their contribution, and say thank you.

Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Thank you, moms, for all you have done for us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Help Your people today, Father. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of the Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Spreading The Rest

As we have opportunity, it is my belief that we should spread the good news of God. He is on our side. We can trust Him to guide us and to care for us. This is the good news that our Messiah Yeshuah came to earth, died and was resurrected to proclaim. Our Father loves us. Period. Today I had such an opportunity. I shared just a small part of the good news.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Ever feel like the devil was just raking you over the coals time and again? Would it be good to make that cease from happening? Would it be good for him to no longer be able to come into your midst? I suggest following what Nahum said, “…keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off,” and enjoy the rest.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Heal us up from the inside. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
