Welcomed Rest

We are not called to work in life non-stop. We are called to take a break from the work we have been given by our Father once a week to rest. That rest is meant to nourish us. In part that nourishment comes from meditating on the scriptures. The scriptures tell the story that is God’s story. He is good, and His mercy endures forever, always there to give us a weekly time of rest.

Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:
11 And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:
12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Let us keep the Sabbath rest in its appointed time.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us tell of Your mercy, and bring Your kingdom to this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us from the inside. Restore unto Your people the joy of our salvation. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has be taken or held back, both in material goods and in blessings. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Are Processing

It is clearer to me every day that we are being processed, as in the refiner’s pot. We may be able to see this when we face those moments when we can be a living witness to the character and nature of God, or not. These are our processing moments when Yahuah gives us the opportunity to add another victory over sin and the flesh to our list of victories. It is the chance to get one more fleck of dross out of us.

Psalms 66:8 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

Silver is “tried” in the refining pot. Put under the stress of heat at that moment, the dross is boiled away.

Let us go through these moments and show the character and nature of God.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be the kingdom preachers in this earth that change it. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the evil one. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Desperately Thankful

Who can fathom all that our Father has done for us here in this earth. Regardless of our situation, we have breath. We all have opportunity to consider creation. There have been times when I have meditated on our Father and what He has done that has caused me to sit in awe. Today, I am not quite there, but almost. What I mean by that is it is easy for humans to rush by all that is around us. It is easy for us to think that life is about us in a way that we just move through what comes next in our head. That can result in much confusion and distraction. When I take time to meditate on his great goodness, and say scriptures out loud, it is like a compass that points me in the right direction.

Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Today I am desperate to be desperately thankful.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Thank You for all You are, and for all You do for us. Bless the name Yahuah! Let us be the light for Your kingdom in this earth. Heal this planet, Father. Send us now Your provision, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing more than we could use in 100 lifetimes, that we might bless others in Your name, Yahuah. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts, minds, and memories. Deliver us from the one that kills, steals, and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold, and hundreds of hundreds, that all might know that you have done this. Let Your work through us and our lives, be a sign once again that the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob is alive in this earth. Come do this quickly, O King! Rise up today! We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Tireless Pursuit

When we face life with hope, we can help ourselves reach our goal of establishing our Father’s covenant in this earth. Thinking about the journey of the children of Israel as they went from slavery to the promised land, I can see how we could compare it to our lives today. We are called out of darkness to establish the kingdom in our own lives, and then in the lives of others.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

We are on a journey, a transition of who we are. When that changes, it changes where we live. In other words, we change the world around us and overthrow the darkness.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the King! Bless the name Yahuah! You are worthy of all praise and glory and honor! Let us change, that we might bring about change in this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow unto those around us. Forgive us our sins, Father, for we are sorry for them. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil one. restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

No Strange Fire

There is a record in scripture of two of the sons of Aaron approaching the alter with “strange fire” resulting in their death. For years I have read this passage with the RCA dog look, wondering what in the world it was talking about. But over time I have learned about the patterns that Yahuah (Lord) has placed in creation.

Leviticus 1:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not.
2 And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

At the same time I have watched a friend of mine that made a creation that others wanted to promote, But as the promoted it they disected it. Then they reassembled it differently, and added things from elsewhere. The end result? Well, they created something, and it did in some ways resemble the original. But in many ways it did not, and some ways it seemed foreign. So what am I saying here?

When something is created with intent, it has that very intent in its make-up, its DNA. It is a mark from the one that made it. When we try to change the original purpose and design by substituting parts at less than a fundamental level, we create something that is misguided and misdirected. It is dysfunctional at best. And sadly it impacts others.

So let us not go down that road. Let us not be those that mix many things. Let us stay true to the course.

Prayer
Father we exalt You. You are our King! Bless the name Yahuah! We need Your kingdom here. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people more that in the Exodus. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Keep On Moving

This morning as I thought about how important it is for us to keep moving forward every day, I realized one of the reasons why that is so true. There is a series of events that occur that compel us to move forward. It is the cycle of darkness and light. It is the changes in the growing of things around us. It is a pattern that we have become so accustomed to seeing that we may not even notice anymore. That is the interesting thing about patterns. The more developed they are, the more routine they are, the more they become a part of the “envelope” that surrounds us. We take it for granted, in short. What are we to learn from these patterns?

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

This pattern is about the lights created and what they mean. This is not separating the light from the darkness. It is like a signal that says we are on some repetitive streaming process. We can make this an opportunity to move to the next thing we should be doing, or not. And it is not always as easy as it sounds.

A final point. We are not stuck. We are in fact moving forward.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be Your kingdom promoters in the earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the thief that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Please come quickly and help us. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Can Learn

We can learn to better at following our Father. We may have thought that if we face the same struggles over and over, then that is just as good as it gets. Perhaps, but I do not think that is true. For example, I believe God will lead us to decision points. Then we learn from the choices we made what those results look like. From there, we need to struggle to be aware of the need for change. If we can maintain that awareness, then it is likely that we can fight through. We need to create a system of support for improving. It is that system that can be the tool that God uses to help us advance.

Deuteronomy 4:5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

We must try to be the people that our Father has asked us to be. We can do this by staying true to His commands. We canstay true to them by focusing on them diligently.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be the ones that bring Your will to this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds with Your words. Deliver us from the one that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken of held back. We need Your mercy and Your love today and always. You are our only hope. We ask You deal with us according to Your mercy and loving kindness, and remember our transgressions no more. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

When We Need To Rest

The Sabbath is made for rest; a time for the people of God to refrain from working and enjoy the Father. Today has been interesting so far. There are many avenues to travel down as we consider what to be about. For me and my family, today we are going to try to be more about the Torah. Life can overwhelm us if we let it. Let’s not let it.

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Be blessed!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision and let us bring in Your kingdom here. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Have To Trust

There are times in life when we will become amazingly aware that we fall short of what our Father wants us to do and to be. In those moments it is possible to be self condemning to the point of destroying our self worth. But that was never a part of our Father’s plan. The problem with that thinking is it is just the other side of the coin that would say if I did good, it was on my own. In fact, that is the name of that coin – “I made myself by myself.” God is against that. He wants us to be humble enough to realize we are not only not as good as we should be, we also cannot “fix” that on our own.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

If we will be humble enough to realize we are not what we should be and we cannot get there without our Father, He will turn to us when we seek forgiveness, forgive our sins, and heal us up.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. Rise up and deliver Your people mightily. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Glad To Be Loved By The Father

It is a long title, but today I was just happy. God has done so many good things in our lives that I was taken back in wonder. Over the last few years he has significantly improved our living situation. Our Father has given us the opportunity to reach out to others. He has helped us to understand what it is that keeps us all going. He has helped us to be faithful to Him, and called us back when we stray. I am very thankful that He is always there, reaching back to us.

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Our Father is worthy of our praise.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be the ones that bring Your kingdom to the earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision such that we cannot contain it. Forgive us our sins. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the evil that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back, and more besides. Show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone have done this thing. We ask all these things in the nema of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
