Faith In God

As believers we have access to the throne of our Father through His Son our Messiah. Our Father loves us all very much. But even more than earthly fathers, He alone is ever present to care for us, to heal us, to forgive us, and to hold us in His arms. And He wants us to know that we can count on Him. We just need to do our best to be like Yeshuah (Jesus), and cry out when we fall short. And Jesus (Yeshuah) told us that we are here for more than just our own lives, more than just passing through – we are on a mission to to God’s will and work. And through God, we can.

Mark 11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Today, if we will just try to be more like our Messiah, we can have faith in God to do what is impossible for man alone.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your heavenly will permeate this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses, and help us to forgive those that have trespassed against us. Heal the hearts and minds of all Your people, Father. Recreate us in Your image. Renew that right spirit within us. Let us learn to only believe, and trust in You. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way. Rise up, my King, and bring peace first to the house of God, and then to our nation. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus (Yeshuah), our Messiah. Amen.

There Is Hope

This morning in prayer our Father reminded me that He alone is able to do that which we cannot do. He alone has plans for the lives of His people. Time and again in scripture we see that He has reached out to His people to remind them of this.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

We can take comfort in knowing that He loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die for us. He always knew the end from the beginning. He will never leave us.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Our Father truly loves us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your light and Your will shine in this place. Send today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions, and help us to forgive those that have transgressed against us. Heal the hearts and minds of all Your people. Deliver us from this present evil. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back. Rise up, my King, and stop the devourer from destroying Your people and Your work. Let Your peace reign among us. You alone can do these things. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Gaining Wisdom

Repeatedly over the last as I have prayed for guidance in life, our Father has again and again shown me the scripture in James.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James is speaking about how we walk out our salvation and struggles come our way. Through those we use our faith to learn patience. Because it has come up so many times, I began to question why? What was the point that our Father was trying to make? Over this time, and more completely this morning, I have come to at least some of this understanding.

We have the world into which we were born. We grow up and learn of the customs of the land in which we live. For me and those I know, this is the US. It occurred to me that the wisdom promised is not from our point of view. It is from God’s point of view. WE have beliefs, customs, traditions, and laws, all of which are a part of the respective location and communities where and in which we live. There will be certain thought patterns associated with our location, our area of living. Within those thought patterns will be certain wisdom that is “generally accepted” by those communities. Sometimes these will differ by nearby communities. All that said, that is NOT the wisdom our Father promises. He promises His wisdom. This is key, because His ways are not our ways.

Isaiah 55:5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

When we try to apply the wisdom of the current locale to the things of God, then we are on our own. We will get the best thinking that we have, and that will not align with what God has for us. We serve a merciful, loving God. He literally died for us, that we might not have to die. He dies for our transgressions, that our lives could be more than just what we try to work out for ourselves. And in the end, the last thing He did, was not protest innocence and the right to be heard, appealing to local customs. He forgave, laid down His life, and He died.

Today, as I consider the Sabbath day, the day made for man, I think on these things and hope that I can learn to be more like Yeshuah (Jesus), who forgave us who killed Him with our sins.

Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us work in Your will here in this earth. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions, and help us to have Your heart and forgive those that have transgressed against us. Heal the hearts and minds of Your people. Restore unto us the joy of Your salvation. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Our God Reigns!

At the end of the day, we are a people most blessed. We have someone that cared so much for us, that He gave His life that we might have eternal life with our Father. That man that bore our sins is Jesus (Yeshuah). He loved and forgave and showed mercy through to the end, and then rose again.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Our healing came at a great price. For that we should be forever thankful. It is hard to fathom such love. Yet, He gives us the power through His death and resurrection to have new life, and to be restored. He gives us the power to be forgiven, and to forgive others. He gives us His peace. And He reigns forever.

Today, let us remember this great gift given to men, to us. Let us be more like Him each day. Let us strive to follow His example. Let us find His peace that He has ordained for us.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Father, let Your will be upon this earth. Show Your mercy here, and let us proclaim Your name. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions, and let us forgive those that have transgressed against us. Heal up the hearts and minds of Your people. Deliver us from the evil that attempts to beset us. Rise up, O King, and restore Your peace in this earth, especially among Your people. Show us a sign for good, that all men might know that You alone have done this, and that You alone are King. Let restoration reign. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

So Glad It’s God!

Today as I thought about how humans treat other humans, I became very thankful that God is not a man. We believers need to follow the model that our Father has given unto us. The model we are to follow is that of our Father, to give mercy to all mankind.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Today, let us be thankful that God is God.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done in this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Help us to forgive those around us. Heal and cleanse our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil around us. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah( Jesus). Amen.

Fear Not

This phrase appears many times in scripture. It seems reasonable to conclude then that we as followers of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) that we will need this encouragement. This goes back to the days of the children of Israel as well. Our Father always fights our battles for us, when we turn to Him.

Judges 6:23 And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.
24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah–shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi–ezrites.

Joshua 8:1 And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:

Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

There are many such stories in scripture. We need not fear, only believe that we serve the living God, and that He loves us and will be merciful unto us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Bless the name Yahuah. We ask that You send Your will today. We ask that You send us our provision. Forgive us our sins, for they are against You only. We ask that we all might forgive each other, that Your mercy might show abroad in the land. Heal and cleanse our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil that tries to overwhelm us. Restore unto Your people their lands, their hearts, their relationships, and their desire to serve You. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus (Yeshuah). Amen.

Reaching Out For Others

Often we are encouraged to reach out to others. This is a good thing, and helpful on both sides. However, there is also something useful in reaching out to our Father on behalf of others. We can make a difference in the lives of others that way as well, if we wish. It seems to be our calling to do so in the life of a believer.

1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Let us remember as often as we can to take time out from our daily challenges and pray to our Father in the name of Yeshuah (Jesus) on behalf of all men. He will lift them up.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let the will in heaven be spread abroad here. Send us today Your provision. Forgive us our sins, and we ask that you stir in all of us the ability to forgive those that have sinned against us. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Lift Up Your Hands

Today I am reminded of great Psalm. To keep it simple, I will post it here.

Psalms 134
A Song of degrees.
1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Whatsoever Things

Recently I was reminded of a scripture that has had great impact for me at various times throughout my walk. When Jesus (Yeshuah) was asked about how a tree withered, He made some profound statements to us about faith.

Here we see that Jesus (Yeshuah) addressed our speaking based on lacking doubt and believing what we says comes to pass, shall have those things. There seems to be a connection to prayer, that the same principle applies to praying, believing that we will receive that for which we pray. And also upon forgiveness. We must forgive others, or our Father will not forgive us.

Lately I have been reminded to be one that believes. This believing can be challenging, but we must strive for this believing and fight off the doubts and fears. This seems to come in prayer and forgiveness of others.

Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Bless the name Yahuah! Send Your will among us! Send us Your provision now. Forgive us our sins, and we forgive those that have sinned against us. Heal p and wash clean the hearts and minds of Your people. Restore unto Your people one Hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way. We ask all these things in Jesus’ (Yeshuah’s) name. Amen.
