Longing To Know

We have a plan and a goal established for us as believers from the foundation of the world. Work, and rest.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

That is the work portion. Here is an example.

Genesis 2:15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And again..

Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Caring for the garden, and naming the animals, gave man dominion over them. But there was also a time for rest. This, too, was established by YAH.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

So we see here that we have a clear picture of what the plan has always been for mankind. We are to have authority here in this earth. We are to rest with our Father because He has declared it.

Once we accept that position, there can come a time of longing for understanding and knowing. We want to be able to make our way. We want to be able to have victory with our Father over the darkness that has entered our world. If we choose to see the good, and not the evil, we will see the good and overcome the evil. The fulfillment of the longing for our Father and the truth comes when we spend time with Him. He will reveal the truth to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us, and in their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil that would be contrary to that end. Restore Your people, Father, unto You as it was in the garden. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of YAH in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Press On = Change

Scriptures are clear about who we are when we give our lives to YAH through the blood shed, death, and resurrection of His Son, our Messiah, Yeshuah (Jesus). We are new creatures.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And we are also made aware that our salvation (wholeness) is not just in a single moment, but somehow a process.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

So we see here that we are in a process of being new, and then changing, perhaps being “renewed” in our hearts and minds and bodies? Salvation is the Greek “sozo” which refers to wholeness of the entire person. So, though our spirit is reunited with YAH, we still may have other parts of us that are working toward getting there. It is important for us all to embrace change.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

We are each responsible for our own wholeness to YAH. Of course there remains the bonds and relationships of spouses and children, and the resulting interaction with the Father that those roles bring, but we still need to call out to YAH, within our role, and seek His will for us in our lives.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdome come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You, Father, as it was in the garden before the days of evil. Restore unto Your people, especially the farmers, all that the worm has eaten. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Heart Felt

It is something we get to choose, really. We can choose, by the words of our mouth, to have a heart felt thankful attitude towards our Father. It is that simple, and yet that difficult. We need to reach out to the Father with our words and the intent to be thankful. When we do, even if it takes some time, we can get there. We can have a heart that is thankful to Him for all He Has done, is doing, and will do.

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

When we give thanks and praise, we have a thankful heart.

Hosea 14:2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

When we do these things, and say these things, they become reality.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people to the garden. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten, especially the farmers here, Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Lean In

It can be such great fun to work hard. There is a certain pleasure in making changes to something. And at times, it can just seem like really hard work that makes life difficult. Likely, the difference is attitude. If we are willing to take the time to be reflective, we can make a conscious decision to enjoy the work. It is this choosing that can change everything. We choose to have the life we want rather than just taking what comes, as if we were a victim. It has always been about choosing.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And from Moses himself we get…

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

So, if you want to see more done, join the workers, lean in, and smile!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, wiping away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You as it was in the early days in the garden. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore one thousandfold of all the good that the enemy has taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Better Lenses

In talking with many people in the last few weeks, a number of them have shared how people have been treating them poorly, sometimes even like outcasts. I can hear in their voices the hurt, the anguish, and often anger at being mistreated. As someone that can relate to their experience, I understand their feelings, in part. But as I look at the scripture, I see evidence that we are to love those around us and act as one.

Psalms 133 A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

It would seem that there is an underlying truth in many of these instances. Hurt people hurt people. It is helpful if we ask our Father to let us see these things through His eyes. If we can let go, we can reach that bigger picture we need to achieve. We can love those that may seem unlovely. We can care for those that need it the most, even when they are trying to harm us.

We just need to have our Father’s heart.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Let it overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people to a better place than even the Garden. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to feed the poor, care for the widows and the homeless, and bring the kingdom into the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Find Your Mission

Each day we are to move forward in some area of our life. Or it could be many areas of our life. But how can we know. We can pray and seek our Father’s direction in life. When we do that, we have a chance to do the right thing. We have a chance to be who we were meant to be. We have a chance to do something. Today, I suggest we take that time, right now, wherever we are. If we really want to know, let’s ask together.

Father, what is my mission today, right now, that you want me to spend time to be doing?

What comes next is our mission for right now. And I suggest that we continue to pray throughout the day, seeking direction. We can even use the help of the Spirit to assist us in our prayers.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

We can have the knowing that we are on our mission. We just need to take time with our Father to get to that point.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here that would bind us to the darkness. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto You the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of YAH in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Kislev 17, 6003 – November 25, 2018

No Matter What

Some days it just feels good to know that know matter what, we have a Father in heaven that truly loves us. When we say it like that, is can sound trite, almost. But by that we mean that He literally is watching over every move of every atom everywhere at all times, and bringing it all together for our good.

Romans 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So we see that we can experience the good in life because our Father is out front of our actions, making sure we have opportunity to get it right. We have the chance we need to choose life over death.

Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

We can choose life and be successful in all our ways, if we will love the Father as He loves us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people Father, as it was in the garden. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, including that which the worm has eaten. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of YAH in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Making The Move To Believe

Mostly when we think of motion we think of the physical world where an object is relocated from one position to another. And, that is true enough. But there is also other types of motion, and some of those are tied to emotion and thought. To change something requires movement. For example, to change the color of a house, we must add a different color paint to the surface or change the siding. That requires physical movement. To change our mind and/or our emotions requires an electrical or chemical reaction, or both. Therefore, when we choose to believe differently, we are moving. Being made in the image of our Father, we are like Him. Everything begins first with a thought. When we choose to adopt the patterns established by our Father, we begin to think like Him. When we do, we become the conduit to a world where healing and miracles are commonplace at our hands. Just like Yeshuah (Jesus) we will do and say what the Father is doing and saying.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

And again…

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

So, if we speak the Law, we hear the Law and can then do it. If we fall short, we have the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, Yeshuah (Jesus) to cover for our transgressions of the Law.

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come, and will be done here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Send us Your provision, that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil. Restore Your people, Father. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom og God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. Giving Thanks

Today in the U.S. there is a holiday we call Thanksgiving. I really enjoy it because it is a good time with family. Maybe even more importantly it is a great reminder to be thankful to our Father, YAH.

Psalms 134 A Song of degrees.
1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

May all readers be blessed and thankful today.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us for our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Deliver us from the evil. Restore Your people. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of you, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom R’vi’i, Kislev 13, 6003 – November 21, 2018

Making Changes

Sometimes the greatest way to make impact is to change. For some reason humans tend to think of change as difficult. It can be hard to change, especially if we choose to focus so far in to the future. But what if we focus on the right now? We can look at the immediate, and start there. The first step to change that fights and wins in the spiritual warfare arena is in our speaking. We have to state what is the truth about what we want to change.

Deuteronomy 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

So we see here that we can change by what we say lining up with the Law. This allows us to begin to do it, to return to doing God’s will. When we return to doing YAH’s will, we get what He promised just before this.

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Many times I have heard people say the “Old Testament” is about God’s punishing us and judgement, and the “New Testament” is about grace and God doing away with the Law. But is is clear here that YAH was always concerned with the heart. This is the very reason that Yeshuah (Jesus) said what He did in Matthew.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Yeshuah (Jesus) came to keep the Law perfectly (what this word for “fulfill” really means). If we speak against the Law (teach) to get others to follow those words spoken out loud, we become least in the kingdom. If you speak the Law, which empowers us to keep it, we can become great in the kingdom of heaven. Yeshuah spoke about what is in our hearts often, that what is in our hearts must be right, and not just our deeds. Our words mold our actions, and when they align with YAH He gives us a new, circumcised heart to be like Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and mind and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us Your provision, that we might use it for ourselves and those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Forgive us, and we will be forgiven. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people unto You. Send Mary a husband that she desires that will be like Yeshuah to her for the rest of her life, whom she can trust and honor. Give her the good things of the promises You have shown in Your Law. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.
