The Joy Of Forgiveness

There is a certain relief in our ability to let go of issues that have crossed our paths. We are required to forgive others in order to be forgiven.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

When we have been wronged, it is difficult to be forgiving, or at least it can be difficult to be forgiving. Why is that? While there may be an exact answer for this question, I do not know it. Perhaps because it is caught in our memory, tied to impulses of pain and things we felt or saw. If there is a way to turn the power of this emotion into positive drive and expectation in prayer, we know that we can have whatever we ask. Our Messiah said so. Perhaps a start is to just be thankful that we have a Messiah that does care, and that is willing to turn over to us the power of speaking things into existence.

Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. Deliver us from the evil here that holds things back. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Reaching For Something

This morning as I thought back on all that has transpired, I see my life as always reaching for something. Likely that is a good trait. But like all traits, not submitted to our Father, it does not work out for us. These moments of reflection seem to help sort out life. I find myself more likely to be willing to try to hear what YAH is saying to me. And it makes it so much easier to remain thankful. Above all else today, I want to remember to be a thankful person.

Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

So today as I ponder all that has been and will be, I rejoice in the ability to sit being thankful unto my Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. O, that we might see the same perfection that is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. We want to be a part of Your plan to reach mankind. Help us, Father, to do Your will. It is difficult sometimes because of all that lies within us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Restore unto Your people all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom. Like David, we rejoice in Your salvation. We rejoice in Your Yeshuah. You are Yeshuah. We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Because We Are Not Alone

It seems like each time I try to sit down to think about what to be thankful to God for at that moment, it becomes very challenging. The challenge is, how do I ever limit it to just one thing. This morning as I await the sunrise, one thing stands out. We are not alone. Our Father did not create the universe, and then leave for vacation. He is always available for advice.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

He has already established the outcome.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

He will never leave us.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

So, we are never alone. We have a Father that is on our side and cares for us. I am so thankful that I do not have to figure this deal out on my own, or make it hapen all by myself. Praise YAH!

Giving Thanks, Receiving Peace

It is very interesting that when my head is filling up with so many thoughts for the day that when I stop to pray, to read scriptures, and to give thanks to our Father, peace comes. But then, that is exactly what our Paul told us.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And our Messiah Himself spoke of a certain comfort.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So much to be thankful for, and of course, thank You Father, for the peace.

In The Moment

When the moments come that try our faith, these are the moments when it is important to remember. By trying our faith, I must pause for a moment to reflect on what that means. For the most part here, in the U.S., we live very different lives from the lives lead by the original members of the church. Going farther back, our lives are possibly even more different from the children of Israel as they marched out of a place of bondage. How we respond to our surroundings and our situation comes from within us. It comes from our heart, as it has for all of us.

Exodus 14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord.
11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

Keeping in mind that these people had ten generations (approximately) of destitute slavery, this response was ingrained in them. They forgot all the recent miracles they saw. By that I mean, they did not pause to remember the deliverance of Yahuah (Lord) from all that had been. Moses had a great response to them here.

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

We all know the rest of the story. God delivered them. It is easy for us reading the pages to wonder why they acted as they did. For us, having heard the end of the story so many times, we do this quick read of the text and don’t think about what it looked like or felt like. We do not even experience it in real time (the same amount of time that they did). We run past that part. It becomes real when something is happening to us.

What we do not realize is what it means to become free. Freedom from bondage is as much mental and spiritual as it is physical, perhaps more. We must be free in our mind and heart before we can ever be free in our bodily experience. The bondage is ingrained into us. The experience of trusting our Father, really trusting Him, is new. If we are to transition from bond to free, we must be willing to accept that our Father is in control. He is the one that parts the waters as we step into them. He is the one that does not allow the waters to overflow us. Freedom comes when we trust in Him and do what He says. The truth is, this all belongs to God and He has everything in control. When we have a close “knowing” deep within us of that fact, that makes us free. The rest then follows.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Today, let’s pause to remember, and be thankful for all that God has done. We know He hears our prayers. We know He is faithful. Let’s move forward in that, with thanksgiving in our hearts.

Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. There has been so much that has been done to eat away at what You have given. Restore what the worm has eaten, Father. Bring in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom in the hearts and minds of mankind. We need You, Father. Let us see the parting waters in our lives. Let us know that You are with us still. Speak to our hearts that we might serve You. We ask all these thing in the name of our Messiah YAH Yeshuah (Lord Jesus Christ). Amen.

So Many Gifts

This morning as I prepare to start my day, I think of all my Father, our Father, has done for me. It is an impressive list, really. And that is not the best word to describe the many snapshots in time I have in my head of all that the Father has done for me. For me in the past I would use the word gifts to describe the unique abilities and/or character traits that our Father has given to each of us. This morning, I think of a much expanded definition. For example, my gardens this year have gone a little wild, producing more than I thought possible. The wild raspberries, which I did not plant, are so plentiful that I cannot keep them all picked in a day. I have a great wife and children. My vehicles keep running for the most part, and when they don’t, I can get them fixed. God miraculously healed me. The list goes on and on.

Psalms 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.The sea…: Heb. Whose the sea is
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Today, let us make a joyful noise unto Yahuah (Lord) who is our maker and keeper.

Thankful For Forgiveness

To be thankful for forgiveness, it is important to first see what we need to be thankful for and why. Please read to the end to see the result of forgiveness, and I believe you will find something for which to be thankful.. Be blessed!

When humans do something contrary to what God has said to do, deterioration of some type sets in with the ultimate form of that being death. In society today, there is a tendency to get caught up in the world around us and to “not know” all that we have or can do when we follow after what our Father has instructed us. In a way, there was this great book of ancient mysteries written that show that what is spoken with intent comes to pass.

Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Based upon that power given to mankind, certain curses were spoken for certain activity. Man cannot escape these curses on his own, and some of these we might recognize because we have unknowingly seen them in action. I have only listed a few here.

Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.
18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

22 The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

24 The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

28 The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:

44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.
61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

But wait! There is good news!

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Today we can be thankful that we have been redeemed so that when we transgress the Law, the commandments and statutes spoken of by Moses, we also have the forgiveness that Moses spoke about.

Deuteronomy 30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3 That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

Today, let’s all be thankful for the forgiveness bought and paid for by our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) when He hung on the cross.

Restore Your people to You, Father. Help men turn their hearts to You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been eaten or taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Only You can do this, Father. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts and minds of mankind. We want to be sons of God. Only You can help us to do that. Help us to find our way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). WE ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Something To Be Thankful For

This morning when I sat down to write, I asked Yahuah (Lord) what to write. He told me to go out to my gardens that he had given me. They are flourishing, both the ones I planted and the ones I did not plant. They are doing so well that I will likely need to take some plants out and place them elsewhere. After I spent some time observing these plants, I came back in to write. The gardens brought into my remembrance all that I have to be thankful for to God. There is so much, so many blessings, they are hard to count.

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Our Father watches over us and blesses us daily.

Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

It is important what we hear, say, and then do. This has always been the case. Paul quoted Moses to make this point.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Joshua experienced this when the leader of the people, the one that delivered them from Egypt, died. He was left alone to lead the people. Here is what Yahuah (Lord) said to him.

Joshua 1:1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.unto this…: or, thou shalt cause this people to inherit the land, etc.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Today, we can be thankful that our Father has us each on a path to endure unto the end. We each are called to do our part. To discover what that is we need to spend time with Him. The good news is, He will reveal to each person what they are to be doing. We need to hear it, say it, and then do it.

We can be thankful today that we have been given life, and the ability to hear, say, and do what is necessary to achieve what has been laid before us.

Restore unto Your people all that the locust has eaten, and the more besides. Restore one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people of that which is good. Bless Your people beyond measure. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts and minds of mankind. You alone can do these things, Father. You alone are worthy of all honor and praise. We need You now. Deliver Your people Father. Lift them up and set them on high places. Shower them with riches and honor that all men might know that You alone are have done this and that You alone are King of all! We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name, YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Thankful In Peacefulness

This morning I really did not know quite how to describe what I was feeling as I was praying. There is a certain peace that comes with knowing that our Father is there for us. This morning I was thanking Him for Him delivering me from the evil that is in this earth. It reminded me of the “secret place” spoken of in scripture.

Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

It can be difficult to not give in to the hustle and bustle of daily life. From the time we get up in the morning, till the time we go to bed, and often in the night when we awake, there lies a mountain of business and thought awaiting us. But if we can just pull back from that we can enter that secret place where we are covered by our Father.

Psalms 91:2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Today, this very morning, as I sit and consider all that He has for me, I am in awe of Him. I am so thankful that I managed to find my Father, and that He sent to this earth His Son, our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus), to save me from death, giving me this new life. How can I do anything but thank Him for this great gift?

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise Your name, the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is so perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision, that it might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here that can so easily beset us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Help our hearts and minds to serve You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. Deliver us today, Father, from all those that would oppose us and Your work here in this earth. We need Your help today. Please help us, Father. And thank You for all You are and for all You do. we ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Delivering The Mail

First, my hat is off to the generations of mail carriers in the US that have been the upholders of communications for generations. They were the connectors between mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, parents and children, and everyone for generations. It is that same level of commitment that spawned the phrase, “delivering the mail”, I suggest. It is about getting the work done in the face of tough situations and good ones. It is that same perseverance that we need in our lives to set ourselves apart as living sacrifices wholly acceptable to our Father.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We are not only given the charge to complete the mission set before us, we are also given the power.
