Fighting No Matter What

It is possible as we consider spiritual warfare that we will consider ourselves not worthy. The truth is, alone, we are not. But then, we are not alone. Our God is with us always, always working to help us be better, and always covering for the difference. This has always been true.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

We must press on, understanding that we are not perfect, but we can still fight.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be light. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us inside that we might be healed outside and heal others. Deliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Knives Between Our Teeth

When in the fray of battle, as a warrior is trying to be ready to work. it is not uncommon for the hunting knife to be held between the teeth for safe keeping, yet readily available for the battle should we need it to stand our ground. When a member of an old sailing crew would climb the netting, they did the same. In this way the sailor was at the ready to cut the lines and ropes as needed. These are scenes from movies, actually, and I am uncertain if they ever actually happened. But we do see that this readiness for what comes our way is how we are to live our lives, even to the point of being able to tell others.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Let us be prepared at all times.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Bless the name Yahuah! Let us be Your light. You alone are our King! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and more than that as well. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Waking Up

We can be asleep with our eyes wide open. We can walk through life all day long, and be asleep at the switch. I do not mean literally. We can be asleep to the calling in our lives. We can be not paying close enough attention to get ourselves moving in the right direction. We can be drugged by our surroundings in such a way that keeps us from truly experiencing what is going on at that moment for us with our Father. When that happens we need to find a way to wake up. Our Father can do that for us with dreams, with visions, with things that occur in our lives. He will call us to the battle of living our lives for Him. We just have to return to Him and call out His name.

Zecariah 1:3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.

Sometimes the greatest spiritual warfare we can be involved with is our own repentance and renewal that follows from our Father.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name Yahuah! Let us be Your light in the earth. Send us Your overwhelming blessing now. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and help us turn to You. Deliver us from the evil around us. Restore unto us one hundred times one hundred times on hundredfold that which has been taken or held back in ay way. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Fight To The End

We all fight. The only question becomes, how long? Will we fade in the length of the battle? Will we fade in fear? Or will we fight to the end?

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Let us fight to the end!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Bless the name Yahuah! We are Your lights, Father, let us so shine. Send us Your provision. Forgive us our sins. Restore us, Father, that we might be a sign for good. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Living And Dying

We live, and one day we will cease to live. We will die. That may sound gloomy when we say it, but I suggest that depends on your perspective. In the end, we are all trying to get from this life to the next life. Therefore, we die a little everyday. Maybe there is a better way.

Perhaps what we need to focus on is not the physical self. We can focus on the spiritual side of us. If we die to our flesh, to sin, we can be born into life. There is a way to make that happen, and be doing spiritual warfare at the same time.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

If we love our fellow believers, then we have passed from death into life.

Let’s love one another.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! We want to be Your lights to this world. Send us Your overwhelming provision now. Forgive us our sins. Revive Your people Father, and let us love one another. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Fighting Through The Calm

We likely can all identify with times in life that have been challenging to thee point we were uncertain about the future. In these times we often find it easy to turn to our Father because we need help. And like any good father, our Father helps us in what ever way is best for us. But the times I am referring to is in those times when nothing dramatically wrong is going on and it is like a calm between the swells of the waves’ crests.

Deuteronomy 6:10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

We must continue to walk in the light of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) if we are to stay the course. This may be hardest when times are good.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Bless the name Yahuah! We will strive to be Your light to this earth and those in it. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back, one thousand times one thousandfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Defense And Offense

Thinking about what I wrote yesterday, there are times when our best fighting, our best work in spiritual battle, is done in establishing our own “city” – ourselves and our families. Just like the builders that had a sword in one hand, we have that same charge at times. We build while we pray, while we teach our children, and while we read the scriptures. There will come times when we can share with others the gospel of God. We will have that time of pure offensive battling. But until then, we fight for ourselves and our families.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Today, let us put on the whole armor of God that we might stand.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise and bless the name Yahuah! Let us bring Your light to this earth. Send now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds, and help us to make them strong in Your words. Deliver us from the evil of the one that steals and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold, and hundreds of hundreds, that which has been withheld in any way from Your people, those many blessings You have intended for us. Rise up, O King, and drive back the enemy from our gates. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Knowing Is Fighting

When we read in scriptures about the importance of the truth, we can understand that we are meant to do something more. Not that we are creators of truth. We are not. But we can become bearers of the truth. This is important. It is one way that we do spiritual warfare.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

What is being said here is a little deeper than one might suspect at the onset. The knowing here is not the knowing that is a level of awareness. It is much deeper than that. The knowing here is that intimate knowledge between husband and wife, as in a man knowing his wife in other places in scripture. When we have this depth of knowing, when we are completely engulfed and one with the truth, it will set us free. From there, we can help others become free as well.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us know the truth that we might bring Your kingdom to this world. Send us now Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our minds and our hearts. Deliver us from the evil that kills, steals, and destroys. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which was taken or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Tireless Pursuit

When we face life with hope, we can help ourselves reach our goal of establishing our Father’s covenant in this earth. Thinking about the journey of the children of Israel as they went from slavery to the promised land, I can see how we could compare it to our lives today. We are called out of darkness to establish the kingdom in our own lives, and then in the lives of others.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

We are on a journey, a transition of who we are. When that changes, it changes where we live. In other words, we change the world around us and overthrow the darkness.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the King! Bless the name Yahuah! You are worthy of all praise and glory and honor! Let us change, that we might bring about change in this earth. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow unto those around us. Forgive us our sins, Father, for we are sorry for them. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil one. restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Waking To Fight

We have the opportunity to fight the evil in this world. But it is not always a dramatic or a glamorous battle. It can be something as simple as we just need to believe one more day. We may need to move forward one more time. We may need not to surrender on some principle one more time. And maybe we have made mistakes. Then we need each day to commit to being the best person for the Father that we can be that day. He is merciful to forgive us our sins if we are willing to confess them, and then turn to Him.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Sometimes the greatest spiritual warfare we can do is to put sin behind us and move on towards serving Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us, and deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
