Working Toward The Prize

It is interesting that no matter what happens in this life, we are faced with new and different challenges everyday. Some things have happened here recently that are quite unusual, and it appears to me that life will be different. I may take a break from writing here before long. Until that time, I will continue to try to share from the heart what I am trying to discover in the Messiah. His is a wonderful world. It can be difficult to understand how His world is entwined in ours. Somehow it is. And no matter what happens, we know that our Father is good. We know that truth is truth. We know that in the end, He will prevail above all.

Psalms 48:1 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

Today I pray for our Father’s mercy for us all.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Please let Your will shine like light in this earth. Send us today Your overwhelmingly abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us in our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. Help us in Your mercy, Father. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

On The Path

Our Father has shown over time and clearly stated in the scriptures that He has a path for us to walk down.

Psalms 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

And again.

Psalms 119:NUN.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The concept appears over and over in scripture. Here is the good news for the day. Because it is a path, then when we stray from it, we can get back to it. It is clearly easy to see. Our Father recorded it in scripture.

Today, let us walk in that path, and if we have strayed from it, open a Bible and find our way home. A good place to start is Psalms 119.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Praise the name Yahuah! Shine Your light through us that Your will be in this earth as it is in the heavens. Send us today Your overwhelmingly abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people on Your path one hundred times one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back from Your people in any way, and the more besides. Show Yourself strong, my King. Show Yourself strong. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

In The Darkness Comes The Light

Today I read a post from a friend who had to go to a national medical center instead of work today. Not being sure of what the journey is for I would ask that you pray for John. I also thought today in the bitter cold of the negative teens outside that there are those that at this time of year become stressed and are without hope. I have been that person in the past, and I can only say this if this is you. – don’t give up! There is hope, for sure! We serve a very great God who created everything including us. He will not leave us behind.He is like the perfect Father, cheering us on to the end, picking us up when we fall and scrape our knees, and loving us at all times. He already knows that we will be winners at the end of the race.

Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Today, let us all be encouraged at knowing that we have a Father that already fought to the death and came back to life, through His Son our Messiah, to make sure we not only survive, but thrive.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Bless You Father! Let us shine the light of Your commandments in this earth. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision such that it overflows to others. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and more besides. Rise up, O King, and make families whole, people whole, and restore thriving prosperity where their is lack. Let no widow or orphan be lacking. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

When We Are Courageous

This morning I read a few emails from a pastor about some serious prayer requests. As I thought about the requests, I realized that the people for whom we were praying were facing challenging times ahead. It also made me think of all we must do to survive each day. In reality, regardless of our situation, it takes courage just to move forward through our day. And we can get that courage from knowing our Father, and spending time with Him.

Psalms 8:1O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Today, let us be encouraged, knowing our Father is watching over us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us do Your words, that we might be Your lights in this world. Give us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Restore unto Your people their health and peace, inside and out. Restore unto Your people their land and their prosperity. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken from them or held back in any way, their goods, their finances, and their blessings, and more besides. Rise up at this time, O King, and bring change into our lives such that all men know You alone have provided these blessings. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Help Is Available

When faced with challenges we can think about who can help us, where will we get help, how will we get help, and so on. One way to head all that off is to start our days deciding to reach out to our Father. If we will reach out to Him, He hears us and responds. Always. How do we know He responds always? Scriptures say it is true.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

If we know that He will always be with us, then perhaps we can take this one step further. Perhaps, one we make our own petitions, we can also make petitions for others. We can even ask our Father to use us to help others. In this way, we see the hand of our Father working, and our hearts are encouraged.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Bless the name Yahuah! Shine the truth of Your scriptures through us, Father. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our hearts and minds, and cleanse them. Deliver us from the present evil. Restore unto Your people the prosperity and wealth one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold, and more besides. Let this be a day to which men point and say, “Surely the God they serve is mighty above all.” We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Hearing And Doing

There is a connection between hearing and doing, and also doing and hearing. The instructions we receive in the book of Deuteronomy and other places is to hear and do. This means the sounds we hear – the words – we act on.

Deuteronomy 6:3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

We see similar statements made by our Messiah.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

There is a direct parallel, it would seem, between these things. For me, and I would guess for many, the challenge is to live what we believe.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Shine us up, that we might reflect Your light to this dark place. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal up our minds and our hearts. Deliver us from the evil that steals from us. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way, and more besides, abundantly, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing, greater than the children of Israel in the Exodus, that all men might know that You alone have done this. O King, have mercy on us this day. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Signs And Blessings

We have indications all around us at times of the goodness of our heavenly Father. The person that called as you thought about them. The unexpected and highly needed funds in the mail. The sudden appearance of something you thought was lost. Our Father watches over us at all times, and we can count on His many blessings. Like little signs that He is still thinking of us.

Psalms 121 – A Song of degrees.
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Be encouraged, He is watching over us.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Bless the name Yahuah! Let us shine Your light Father. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back in any way. We need You today, O King! Rise up, and deliver us from the evil that has stolen so much. Open our eyes to see You more. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

We Can, We Can, We Can!

It is important as believers to approach all that comes our way with a positive attitude. By positive attitude, I mean an attitude focused on our Father as our creator and provider and defender and healer… When we face the challenges in life, we have been well trained by the world and its media to freak out. But we need not do that because we have the very source of all life itself on our side. And not so much as on our side, but actually creating a path for us to follow, a way to go, and the means to go that way. Where does that begin?

Dueteronomy 30:6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

We can help ourselves by speaking what the scriptures say. If we will just say and do what the Father says and does, then we will be living in that space where the blessings exist. This is what our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) did.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King! Bless the name Yahuah! Let us lead people to Your lighted path. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant blessing of provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal and cleanse our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and more besides, mor than those that fled Egypt. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Adding Courage

When I think of the word, “encourage”, it makes me think of the adding of courage to someone or some situation. It could be a situation where there was only fear, or just no courage, or even possibly just more courage needed. In trying not to be too analytical, I just think of it as a need. Some is needed, therefore let’s add some. And how is that done? For me, that is done by thinking of the God that I serve. He is the one true King, the God above all gods. Scripture bears this out.

Psalms 135:5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

If we can remember whom we serve, we can be encouraged no matter what we face.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let us serve You and be Your light in this place. Send us now, today, Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal and wash clean our hearts and minds. Deliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold all that has been taken or in any way restricted from Your people, and more besides. We need You now, O King, to smite the enemies of Your kingdom. Do a miracle today and tomorrow here among Your people in the United States. Please help us, for we are weak. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Hope Endures

We have been made in the image of a truly amazing God. In fact, He is the only real God. Think of all He does and can do for a few minutes. Now remember, we are made in His image. Could that possibly mean we are to be like Him, able to do and create many things? And from what does He create these things? From His will and His speaking. Perhaps we too are meant to be like this.

Mark 11:19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

If we can remember Him and who He is and that He created us to be like Him, we can be encouraged to believe we can do great things.

Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! You are the Light of the world. Let us reflect Your light. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up inside and outside. Deliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundred times one hundredfold that which has been taken or held back from Your people in any way, and more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
