Day 2 – Yom She-ni

Yom Sheni, Tishri 9, 6004 – September 9, 2019

Seek And You Will Find

This is an interesting promise from our Messiah.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Yeshuah was speaking of many things here. Specifically He was speaking of the kingdom of God. We see this by Him teaching us how to pray just before the above passage, then telling us about seeking the kingdom.

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

So we see that if we seek, we will find…

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and those that would promote it. Confound these people, and confound their paperwork. Let Your kingdom prevail here in power and might. Let great substance and prosperity come today that we might be bearers of Your light unto all. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Tishri 2, 6004 – September 2, 2019

What If

This morning I was thinking of the world as a different sort of place. What if in this world we were to be positive and upbeat at all times? What if we only said good things about people? What if we went the extra mile to help those we know and those we do not know? What if?

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Today, like everyone, we all have our own set of challenges. And it is true, we cannot change the world instantly. But we can change the world we in which we live instantly, simply by changing us. We can be that positive force for good, and leave all we meet in our world better than they were before we crossed their path.

Deliver us from the evil here. Let us now give n to temptation. Let Your kingdom reign, and Your power be released, and show up in Your glory, for these are Yours forever. We only have You. We only have You, Father King, but You are all in all. Let Your angels fight through with the victory today that all men might know that You alone have done these things. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 24, 6004 – August 26, 2019

Beginning To See

Our Father will give us wisdom to know answers to important questions, the wisdom we need for understanding what is needed.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Among these prayers for wisdom can be questions regarding who we are and how we respond to certain circumstances. If we are sincere in our desire to follow YAH’s path, the Law in our hearts, He will reveal to us even the deepest of issues.

Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

We can see that our Father helps us to obtain knowledge. If we ask him for wisdom, He will reveal it to us. But we must be willing to be patient to hear it from Him. He never fails us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. We need You, we need Your kingdom to rise within us. We need Your power to heal. Restore these things, and restore the prosperity that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 17, 6004 – August 19, 2019

Our New Covenant

Thinking today about the blessing we have in the New Covenant, it made me think of the scriptures that tell us what that is.

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

So, what does this mean?

The Law in our heart = New Covenant = Salvation
No Law in our heart = No New Covenant = No Salvation

Profoundly simple.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Yo alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed ot transgressed against us. Restore Your people. Set them on high, and show us a sign for good, that all men might know that You alone are King. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 10, 6004 – August 12, 2019

Learning To Win

God has built an amazing machine called the human! It has known abilities to replicate, change over time, and go through cycles of improvement. It literally can heal itself. And then there are the abilities that are largely untapped in most humans. These are the powers within, the spiritual powers that are gifts from God to do great and mighty works.

If we can learn to focus ourselves, we may actually be able to focus these powers as well. If we think of our various manifistations of ourselves – physical, mental, spiritual, etc., then we can envision these as a series of circles. If these circles can be concentric, then there is great balance. If they are not concentric, there is imbalance and a chance for our journey to “wobble” over time. The challenge is the alignment.

One way to achieve some of this alignment is in our speaking. Scriptures speak of how great the power of the tongue really is.

James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Today, let us begin to intentionally speak the good that YAH has for us and others. If we can do this, we can make our way to the places He has for us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people, and let Your will be done here as it is perfectly in the heavens. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Let us not fall into temptations. Only You can provide all that we need. Only You are King. You are our King. Thank You, thank You, thank You. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Elul 3, 6004 – August 5, 2019

Possibility: Possible

This morning I imagined a stamp on a project. POSSIBILITY: Possible. It would be sort of a heavenly stamp. As if angels were watching over the various projects crossing the threshold of heaven for consideration for making happen. Perhaps it is a bit whimsical to consider, but it was pleasant to imagine such a thing. Even more pleasant it was to imagine that each one of us striving to make it home to our Father through our lives, is just such a project.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

And again…

Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Today we can be encouraged to know that we are the sons and daughters of YAH, joint heirs to the throne through our Messiah Yeshuah. Hallelujah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Av 25, 6004 – July 29, 2019

Receive The Blessings

This morning I was thinking about patterns in life. There is one I have noticed that is good to be aware of in each moment. When life moves along at a slower pace, it seems easier to remember to do the things we are commissioned to do by the Father. At that pace we find the time. What becomes more challenging is remembering as we approach a goal. The noise and distractions get louder and larger, or so it seems. But if we can remember the concept of a pattern, we can use that to power us to be able to complete the pattern to commune with the Father.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

Let us pray to YAH, sing His praises, and remember to always honor Him.

Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father, our King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Av 18, 6004 – July 22, 2019

True Reality

This morning I thought about interviewing someone to ask what they would offer as a word of encouragement to the world at large. Before I could press speed dial, an answer came to me – true reality. We have the opportunity for us to know truth. What we see around us is only the result of many humans interacting with the truth. What we see around us is the result. There is good news mixed in with all of that, however. We are a part of what impacts what is around us.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Deliver us from the evil here. Restore the gates, Father. Restore the treasuries Father. Throw open the treasuries that we might fulfill the destiny which You have provided for us. We need You now. We need You now, and always. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Av 11, 6004 – July 15, 2019

First Things First

It is difficult to understand people at times, or can be. When people say things, there is a tendency these days for that statement that they have made to have no meaning. For example, if someone says they will call you, but they do not, then what does their word mean? Not trying to say here that is was a malicious thing, or even that I do not do the same thing. We too easily make exact commitments, without the consideration (or enough consideration) as to whether or not we can perform them.

Matthew 5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Yeshuah here was teaching us that our communication with each other needs to be simple. If we get beyond that, then we are likely to say things we cannot perform.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here, and let Your kingdom come here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to for givet hose that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that hs been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Av 4, 6004 – July 8, 2019

Finding Hope

Certainly in this day and age it is possible to struggle with all that goes on here. It is easy to get distracted by the challenges we face and by the challenges faced by others. If we focus on these things, even unintentionally, we can get to the place where we get discouraged. But there is a way back. That way back is hope.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

If we translate the words used here, we could say it like this:

The conviction of the absolute truth of somoething is the solid structure of what you expect (good or bad), and the proof of what is not physically seen or even possibly mentally conceived.

We can understand then that it is important to know how to get the structure to build expectations upon, right?

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This could again be translated:

The solid structure to build upon comes through what we hear with our ears (even rumors), and the ability to hear through the ears by the utterance of God/deity.

Since we are made in the image and likeness of God, and even referred to as “gods” in scripture, then we can get to hope by speaking that which God has said so that we build the faith for it.

Today, let’s think and pray about what we want to appear, and then say that.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now the overwhelming provision, that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.
