Day 2 – Yom She-ni

Yom Sheni, Kislev 20, 6004 – November 18, 2019

Snap Into Place

Yesterday I had some frustrating moments dealing with a device that used the “snap into place” technology to hold various pieces together. Have you ever found yourself particularly upset with inanimate objects? Silly, right? And yet, for me at least, I return to this behavior every once in a while. Odd. Or at least it is, until I stop and think it through.

What is there that we can learn from “snap in place” technology? First, it is a great concept from a manufacturing perspective. If something comes together without fasteners or chemical adhesives, there are fewer parts and less to clean up. Second, it takes time to create the overall product. There is planning, modeling, modifying – all take time and resources. And lastly, how it feels. As I consider my experience from yesterday, the moments that really stand out as “feel goods” are those moments when I got to the part where the “snap” was applied. It just feels right.

That is what prayer and meditation is like for me. They are the inputs from my side. When I spend time with my Father, I try to do what those that have gone before me have done.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

It is a learning process, for sure, to take what YAH tells us in prayer and engraft it into our lives.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

And then there is that moment when that snap is created, everything fits, and we just know. It is those moments that serve to remind us of the reality of YAH in our lives and this world.

Joshua 4:18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.
19 And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.
20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.
21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
23 For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:
24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the Lord your God for ever.

So, today, let’s spend time with YAH, and look to that snap.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Yes, You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let the manna overflow to those around us, Father. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from the temptations that we would not follow other gods. It is Your kingdom, Father, that is in our hearts and minds and bodies. Restore us Father. Restore unto us Your blessings promised, of substance and jewels, and prosperity that all men might know that You alone have done this. We ask all these things of You, Father and King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Winter Storms

Winter days in the Midwest can be very trying, at least the first few big snow days. It is like we forget how to drive. We lament the snow removal, and we are already longing for the warmth of springtime. The interesting part is we have been through it before. We know what it takes to get through it and get done what needs to get done. Our life with YAH is like this. There are set cycles that He has set out for us. He even gave us the natural markers in the sky to keep us informed.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

He had the prophets tell us the importance of the these “seasons” which is in Hebrew, moedym, or “appointed times”, also known as feasts.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Today, regardless of the weather you are facing, just know that we serve the living God who is with us and has established patterns in the heaven for us all to follow.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Yes, You alone are King. Praise the name YAH. We praise Your name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Let it overflow to those in need. Let it overflow. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Forgive us Father, for we are frail. Deliver us from the evil here that might cause the enemy to prevail. We need You and we need help to resist temptations. We need You to come in Your power and might to deliver the kingdom in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Restore unto Your people the relationships and the healings and the prosperity and the substance that You have promised so long ago, long ago, and the more besides, that have been eaten by the worm, or held back or taken. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Kislev 6, 6004 – November 4, 2019

Just Keep Moving

This was an interesting weekend for me. I just attempted a full Ironman in Florida. I spent the full amount of time allotted for the two full laps in the Gulf of Mexico, a 2.4 mile swim, only going just under one lap. I faced a childhood terror of the open water – the Atlantic Ocean in that case – and I did not give in to it. I would not get out of the water until they called the race, even though I missed the halfway point. Hearing all this, you may ask yourself how is this encouraging? It is encouraging because although I was a DNF (Did Not Finish), I also did not drown, did not quit, did not give up, because I do not get out of the water. Neither should you.

The thing is, we all will face our fears. We all will have to take on that moment, or those moments, when things look pretty dark. But if we refuse to get our of the water, we have a chance of beating our fears. That’s really what happened for me. I faced my fear and would not get out of the water. There are many scriptures about this, but here is one that I like.

Joshuah 1:6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Face your fears. You already beat them.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Let all Your people cry out to You, and learn to be strong in You. For You alone are King, You alone are King. Send us now Your provision. Let it arrive today. Let Your provision overflow to those around us. We love You. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We need and want to be like You. We need and want to do what You do. Hear us now, Father YAH. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations rule. This is Your kingdom and this is Your power O YAH. Rise up my King, let Your angels fly to deliver Your promises yet this day. So let it be, O my King. We ask all these things of You Father King. Restore possessions and substance to Your people. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Cheshvan 29, 6004 – October 28, 2019

Our Father’s Love

This morning I woke after a restless night. It was encouraging for me to realize that we have our Father’s love always. He never leaves us or forsakes us.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

It comes down to one thing – our Father loves us, always has, and always will. If we will trust in Him, He will make a way where there is no way.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. We need to have Your kingdom and power here among us. Deliver us, deliver us, deliver us, Father. Restore unto Your people all the good and substance and healing that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Cheshvan 22, 6004 – October 21, 2019

Mysteries Of Heaven

In a number of “scientific” endeavors I have heard of the concept of the “mysteries of the heavens” as it relates to the sun, moon, stars, planets, etc. Like any good tale, there is an author. Many times those that rarely read the work, only talk about it with friends and the critics get it wrong. The story of the mystery of heaven is no different. However, perhaps the easiest way to gain understanding is to just spend some time with the author.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The good news is we can ask Him anything about life and this place we live, and He can tell us.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

In the heavens are written the patterns we all need to see if we are to understand the mysteries.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

We are all a part of the plan. We need only to plug in to YAH’s plan to be fulfilled and to complete our destiny.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. In heaven, where the sun and moon show us wonders of the patterns and times and seasons. Please show unto us Your wonders, and give us Your wisdom. We need You. Send us now Your provision in abundance that it might overflow to those around us. We need You now. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespasses or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here of hatred and lies and misunderstandings. Deliver us from the evil of those that will not yield to You. Turn the hearts and minds and bodies of the people YAH. We need You. Restore unto Your people dominion. Restore unto Your people blessings. Restore unto Your people all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides, the more besides. Let substance flow in. Let gold and silver flow in. Let rubies and diamonds flow in. Let the currentcies flow in, yes, let the currencies flow in that all men might know that You alone have done these things. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen and Amen. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Cheshvan 15, 6004 – October 14, 2019

Righteousness In The Heart

Our Father, He is the King. He has set forth certain decrees. In those decrees He makes it known that there will be certain happenings that will take place. He wants to give to me and to you a heart and mind and body that remains true. And the promises are more than a few.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

He has provided for every need, promising to fulfill. We only need to turn to Him with our will.

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

These decrees have always been true. They were meant to bless me and you. We have the power to follow through. YAH gave me that power, and he gave it to you.

Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

It is this power, in this very hour, that can change our heart. Don’t worry for the end, for one thing is true my friend, to finish everyone must start.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Today when we pray, may our words ring out. O Father, YAH, our hearts sing out. May we be an encouragement to those in the valley, and the light of Your Law shine from within us, causing mankind to rally, to You.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Let us sing, to our King. Let us sing, to our King.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here, and let Your kingdom come here, in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Send us now Your provision. Let our baskets overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto us all the blessings, yea YAH the blessings. We need You. We need You. Father YAH, You are King. To You alone, our praises bring, till all men hear the resounding ring of Your righteousness, and love for us. Send the substance and the healing and the wealth that we all need to promote who we are as Your servants. We love You. Amen and Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Cheshvan 8, 6004 – October 7, 2019

Be Uplifted

We are encouraged in scripture to remain open to our Father in heaven.

Psalms 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

The risen Messiah comes to us and knocks.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

YAH is trying to reach out to us. It has always been so. If we are quick to repent, He will be with us to guide us and cover us with the sprinkling of the blood of the Lamb. He will grant unto us His righteousness. We are His.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and hte more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Cheshvan 1, 6004 – September 30, 2019

Self Encouragement

We are a family as believers. We are a community. We are meant to encourage people – our family, community, AND ourselves, I would suggest. When you have moments alone – when you awake in the night, first thing in the morning, maybe driving in your car – if there are negative self thoughts that come your way, this is a time to encourage yourself. YAH loves you, and He sent His Son to die for you. This is when we each must take it upon ourselves to include ourselves in the people that we encourage daily.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Today, be encouraging to all. And, importantly, be encouraging to yourself!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth a s it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Keep us from temptations. We need Your power and kingdom within us, within us. For only You can deliver us. Only You can enrich us. We need You now YAH. Restore Your prosperity and substance that You have set apart for Your people. Restore now to Your people, and that one thousandfold. We ask all these things of You Father King, that You migh show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone have done this. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.

Yom Sheni, Tishri 23, 6004 – September 23, 2019

Newness Appears

We can experience a renewing. Often I hear, or experience myself, struggling with getting to accomplish a certain something. What is it that made us all feel new at one time, and now we are in this place of struggle? Is it possible that we need to find a way out of that struggle? Or maybe we learn something in the struggle, and then the struggle disappears? I am perceiving that possibly there is a case for making struggles melt away. Maybe there is a way to make them not matter.

We can stop the chatter in our head that makes us consider this world. Then add to it the righteousness of YAH, which is the Law, placing it in our hearts. Then we can say it and do it.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed or trespassed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.

Yom Sheni, Tishri 16, 6004 – September 16, 2019

Okay To Lead

Some people feel the pull to do something different in life. They are drawn to what seem like extremes at times. But in their shoes, it can be challenging. Their is no one telling them what to do next. They are out front. They have to be the ones to find the path and encourage others to follow down that path. In so doing, they make it possible for others to make their way. At this moment in my life, I feel as if I am one of these people. I am trying to find my own way down the path. By definition, I must be the one cutting a path that makes it possible for others to make progress. YAH is the actual one with the path to follow. I am trying to find that path to follow it myself, and maybe help others to it as well.

Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

We are called to pursue a path that changes our heart. Some of us are called to show that same path to others.

Deliver us from the evil that is here. Deliver us from the evil that has taken so much from so many. Father, I call to remembrance Your words that said You give substance. It has been taken and delayed. Free it now. Free it today. Send us great substance that we might reach out to spread Your kingdom. We love You Father. Show us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone have done this. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen. Amen.
