Praying For Peace
There are many things in life that we can find for which to pray. In scriptures we are actually encouraged and instructed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Psalms 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
In both the Hebrew and the Greek, the words translated “peace” mean a fullness that comes when exempt from war, including the prosperity of that situation. We pray that for Jerusalem today, and for ourselves.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your peaceful provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wash and wipe away all the thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us, and replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Heal us from the inner most parts of our beings. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that is good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all thee things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in the name of YAH! Amen.

Willingness To Change
To change requires a willingness to do so. Most who want to have a different life, a life that serves the Father, are willing to change. This is true even for those of us that might struggle with change. But in order to change is something even more subtle. We must be willing to see the need for change. By that I mean we must be willing to hear from our Father what He is trying to say. Many of us want to create a group of possibilities that could be God, and then want God to act inside that “box” the expectations create. Our Messiah ran into these things when He walked the planet, and He had a strong reaction to it.
Mark 7:1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
It is better if we can just call out to our Father, and be willing to listen to Him. We will be comforted by our Father, if we will just listen for His voice when we call out.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Bless the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away and eliminate completely any and all thoughts or memories of of evil done to us or by us. Heal up our hearts and minds, etched only with thoughts and memories of You, and Your Torah. Deliver us from the evil here. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Friends Beginning
Today some friends of ours started new beginnings. It was a remarkable thing to see. Two people that had been broken before came together to love one another in a very special way. That was truly remarkable to see. The person that presided over the ceremony did a very good job of describing the covenant that the two of them were making with each other. He mentioned that their marriage was built on the commitments they made to each other at the beginning. This is true. Sadly, for many, perhaps even for most, these commitments are forgotten by one or both parties. And when they are not kept, that foundation is broken. Then everything they build is built upon a broken foundation.
Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away any and all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts or memories of You. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold all the good, the provisions, and the wealth that has been taken or held back from Your people in any way, and the more besides. Rise up, O King, and make these things so, that all men might know that You alone are God. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Yoru name, YAH. Amen.

The Best We Can
As humans, it is very likely that we will not be able to keep up with our own expectations of doing the right thing all the time. We will most likely make mistakes. But if we cannot keep up, that does not release us from trying. Some of the greatest accomplishments of mankind have occurred when individuals and groups have done their best to do something, even to the point of being extreme. But no matter what, if we do our best, our Father will make up the difference. There is comfort in knowing He is there and has our back.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the Lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away any thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let their be only thoughts and memories of You. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back from Your people of that which is good, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in Your name, YAH! Amen.

Round And Round
We can be comforted to know that our Father keeps the sun and moon and stars going round and round. At least, we keep moving whether they do or not. These things are meant to happen for as long as this earth shall exist.
Jeremiah 33:19 And the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, saying,
20 Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
We can take comfort in knowing that our Father is still large and in charge!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Helping One Another
There is a saying that is of uncertain origin. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Some attribute it to Einstein. Regardless, it is pretty smart. The obvious conclusion we can draw from this is that to get different results we must take different actions. If we are to help one another, then what does that look like? I suggest it looks like us acting differently to help others act differently. If we tell the truth in mercy, then we will succeed in helping in the long run.
Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Sometimes we as humans have a difficulty with change. We do what we know because it does not disrupt our thinking. Our thinking compels us to action. There is a thinking-acting cycle. If we disrupt one we disrupt the other. To change the results, more often than not we have to change the actions. To change the actions, we have to change the thinking. To help our friends and loved ones, we have to help them disrupt their thinking acting cycle. If we truly love someone, we will do that.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the King! Praise the name Yah! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed or trespassed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be thoughts and memories of only You. Heal us from the inside. Restore unto Your people one hundredfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Rise up while it is called today, my King, and deliver Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask these things of You, Father, in praise and honor of Your name and in Your name, YAH. Amen.

Coffee And Donuts
There is a place near here where they sell the most amazing donuts. It is run by the Amish, and is become world famous. On a cold winter’s day, a cup of hot coffee and one of those donuts… mmm-mmm! Now THAT is comfort food to most. To me, I do enjoy it, I must confess, but I would add something. My Bible to read, and maybe a fire in the fireplace. In truth, I find that whatever is going on, good or bad, a few moments with the scriptures comforts me. Here is one I like.
Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Now that is comfort food!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yah! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. Replace these with only thoughts and memories of You. Restore all that was good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, one hundredfold and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah. We ask all these things Yah. Amen.

Arms That Hold On
We are surrounded by the arms of a Father that will not let go. It is a simple thought for sure. But it is one that brings us comfort in times of trouble.
Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Let us run to the arms of our Father, and have Him hold us up.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here in the earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed and transgressed against us. Heal us from the inside wiping away completely all the thoughts and memories of those that have done wrongs to us and those we have wronged. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people the good that has been taken or held back in any way, one hundredfold, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

God Comforts The Weary
It is good for us to know that we have hope in our Messiah. Isaiah knew this, even before Yeshuah was born.
Isaiah 40:1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God
We will be comforted when we turn and again when we return to our Father. We can do this when we read and reread His scriptures. He renews us.
Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Today, let us call our to our Father, and have our strength renewed like the eagles.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Heal up our hearts and minds, wiping away all thoughts and memories of evil. Replace these with thoughts and memories of only You, Father, only You. Deliver us from the evil here. Rise up, my King, and send us now Your power. Restore unto Your people all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Forgiveness Reigns
One of the great keys is forgiveness. In fact, it may be the greatest key. That is not clear to me. What is clear is my desire to forgive people, and the desire to not judge people. That is another key. For me, forgiveness is greater because I want it for me and I want to be like our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) who was able to forgive us all for such a horrible death. He said it plainly, more than once.
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
He said it again about when we pray for something.
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Yes, for me, I believe forgiveness reigns as the number one key. Today, let us all pray for and strive to give and receive, forgiveness.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from all the evil here.
