Day 1 – Yom Ri-shon

Yom Rishon, Iyar 5, 6003 – April 22, 2018

Clean Hearts

This morning as I was in prayer I sought after what YAH wanted to communicate. Visually I could see a place where people could visualize good or evil. The choosing of the good is just that – a choice. As I wondered about that moment of choosing, I recalled the simplicity that often is present when a person first gives their heart and life to God through the Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus), when they are born again.

At that moment they truly are new. We can all recall moments in the presence of God where we felt that set apart state that comes with being with Him. David wrote about this state of being.

Psalms 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Here we see a very good description by David of what it is that YAH is seeking. He wants us to be clean on the inside. We see that the clean heart in the inward parts helps us to find our way to the Master and Creator. We can be comforted that when we call out, our Father will hear us and cleanse us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come into the hearts and mind of mankind. Let Your perfect will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Do not lead us where we are tempted. Deliver us from the evil here that creeps into the hearts and minds of mankind. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to care for the people here. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Deliverance Is Coming

This morning in prayer, I was asking God what would be the best message I could share to comfort people today. It is the same message that I give myself. Deliverance is coming. There is a song by Rich Mullins that really helps to convey this comfort. You can here it by clicking here. For now, I will also add this scripture.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Let us rejoice in our Messiah today.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come in the hearts of mankind everywhere. Let Your will be done here among us as it is done perfectly in the heavens. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that is might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might care for the people. We ask all these things of You in Your Name, Father, the name of YAH. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Knowing God Cares

This morning I asked myself what is the most comforting thought I could think of in the face of many challenges that life brings our way. It wasn’t that I am a child of God, saved by the blood of the lamb. It wasn’t that I have some interesting powers given to me by our Father. It was very simple.

Knowing God cares. That is the most comforting thought that I could possible think. Because He is God, He can do anything. That is good. But when I realize that He cares about me as an individual, that becomes a big deal. It becomes the only deal that matters.

Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

We encourage everyone today to spend time with Yahuah (Lord). He is our Father, and He really does care for us.

Prayer
Father., we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come to the hearts of mankind everywhere. Let Your perfect will be done here as it is with the sun, moon, and the stars. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all the evil thoughts and memories of evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore unto Your people the blessing of 70, and make the enemy return that which was eaten, or taken, or in any way held back of the good You have promised through Your servant Moses. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might care for Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name Yahuah. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Nisan 14, 6003 – April 1, 2018

Passover

Last night was the keeping of the Passover, at least for some. Today is preparation day. That means we prepare for departing Egypt. Today God blesses with abundance for the journey. Here is the story, briefly.

Exodus 12:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s passover.
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the Lord will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said.
32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come into the hearts of men. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil that attacks us in our hearts and minds. Restore unto Your people seventy times sevenfold all the good that has been eaten, held back, or taken, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom caring for Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name of YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Nisan 7, 6003 – March 25, 2018

No Matter What

We serve a living God, and not a God made with hands. If a person is continually concerned about the needs of the day, the future that they want to create, or especially the amount of money they can stack up, they can easily slip into focusing their attention on those things. Focus left unattended becomes obsession, and that becomes “worship”. As believers we are called to be obsessed with YAH. If we are willing to work at it, we can put that focus on Him. That is the goal. He is committed to us to help us through blessing as promised to Abraham and the commonwealth of Israel. He is also committed to setting things right when they are not. This is called judgement in scripture. It is a good thing because it gets things set right.

Psalms 101:1I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

We are to sing aloud about these things. Praise YAH and enjoy His comfort, for He is there to forgive and cover us, no matter what.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom dwell in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is perfectly and withoiut fail in the heaven. Send us now Your provision, that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed ot transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil in thoughts, words, and deeds, andin our hearts and minds. Let all these be replaced with You and Your love. Restore seventy times sevenfold all the good that hs been eaten, taken, or held back by the enemy. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to care for people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of Your, Father, in Your name, YAH. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name of YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Trust And Obey

We can do most anything we want to do. WE actually get to choose what our preference will be moving forward. By that I mean, we can follow our true convictions, or not. For some, perhaps there exist no truly strong convictions. For others, with these convictions, they are or seem strong. But what about when they are tested? What do we do in those moments when we have to choose? Let me provide an example. Say we have a chance to escape severe financial lack by being a part of some effort, like a new job, a sale, or what ever means we have personally for improving our income. Or someone assures you they can heal your child if you will just let them use fetal tissues. When we think about these things, perhaps, just perhaps, we are thinking on the wrong thing. Here is some of what I found in scripture.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

We see that it is not enough to believe in our Father’s existence. We must also believe He will reward us if we seek Him. It becomes a matter of trust. It becomes a matter of what we consider to be important, or at least most important. It is not easy, but it is possible to press pause and realize that the best solution is really choosing God, believing in the Messiah, and going after Him.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here into the hearts and minds of all mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly, just as it goes on forever in heaven, without fail. Send in now Your provision that we might share it with others. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. We need deliverance from the evil in the hearts and minds of us all. Only You can heal us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might advance Your kingdom. We need you now, Father. We love you, Dad. Help us. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Cinnamon Rolls

In our house we seem to have started a tradition of having cinnamon rolls on the morning of the Sabbath. The good news about that is the comfort of that warm carbohydrate module carries over to today, the first day of the week. Two days of comfort! Yum. But as I consider that it make me stop to think about what a comfort it is to have a heavenly Father to care for us. He is the Creator of everything, and in that He also makes certain that we have a path to walk in the light.

Psalms 119 NUN.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.lamp: or, candle
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments.

And again, He says,

Proverbs 6:20 My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

He comforts all along the way.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come to the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as perfectly and steadfastly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, and the evil in our hearts and minds from all that has been done to us or by us that is not of You. Send in quickly the $424, 523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom here. Restore unto Your people seventy times seven fold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the nam eof our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

Comfort In Accomplishment

Yesterday I had a friend share with me that it was an important day for him. He is a recovering alcoholic, and yesterday was his 14 month anniversary of sobriety, as he calls it. He explained to me that it is a disease, and that without what he called a “spiritual awakening” he would not have been able to quit. Early on he told me he struggled with other believers not understanding that it was an addiction and that he could not quit on his own. Then he realized he was judging his fellow believers, and God showed him that was wrong.

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

He has learned to take comfort in trusting God, and the blood that was shed by our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus), and the stripe(s) He bore that healed us from all our diseases, including alcoholism.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Praise YAH!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Lead us to where waters are still, and You can be heard. Restore the breach between us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold, all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424, 523,962.53 that we might promote Your kingdom here. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We assk all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

The Healer King

Another friend of mine reported a miraculous thing to me. He took a journey of some distance today. He had been singing and praising God. He also asked God to heal under his arm where various swellings had occurred. During the journey, he noticed at one point an itching under that arm. He said it was like when a scab covers a wound and when it is healing, there comes a point where it itches to the point we can tear off the old sking and find the new skin there. He said out loud, “I am being healed” as he rubbed under his arm. He reported this morning that the swelling is all but gone under his arm, and the pressure in his chest is gone!

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! You are our Healer! Send in now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or and memories, of the evil done to us or by us, for all people. Give peace to all in this regard. Deliver us from the evil here. Send in quickly what You have promised. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.

What We See – The “b” Experience

Someone shared a story with me that demonstrates how we actually “see” what we observe. Seems he sent a message to his wife who was driving home late in the snow with their daughter. The message advised of the conditions of the road and to be careful. There was a space at the end and a lower case “b”. The next morning he noticed his wife had asked what the “b” stood for, telling him she thought he was calling her an inappropriate name. For those of you reading this, you are probably smiling, having had the “b” experience yourselves. This happens when a person tries to hit the “space bar” twice but accidentally slips and hits the “space bar” “b” instead, then sends without checking.

Upon hearing this story, I smiled. Then I thought about how this really reflects our life experience. Clearly, in this case, the person receiving the “b” in the text read something in to the message that was not present. If we all stop to think for a moment, likely we will be able to think of a time when we have “colored” something we saw or heard with additional meaning not actually present. This happens through our idea generator, our mind, through making decisions we call judgments.

Judging another judges the Law because we are making thought decisions about their intent of the heart. And if they profess to be a believer, then the Law is written in their heart and mind.

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

In the letter to the Hebrews we see this same thing.

Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

So we can take comfort in the fact that we have in our hearts and minds written all that we need to walk after our Father. And we can obtain forgiveness at all times though asking and applying the sacrifice of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). If we will grab hold of our idea generator, our mind, and put it back on track, we can find our way to not judging. We can do this by the words we speak.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come to men. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, where you has peranently established Your ordinances. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow from us to others. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away our thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us, and in their pllace let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might begin even today to promote the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
