Day 1 – Yom Ri-shon

Yom Rishon, Elul 28, 6003 – September 9, 2018

Beginning Is Where?

Humans live based on what they have learned. Interpretations are based on this. They are acts of comparison. If we can look at any given situation and identify the learned (read assumptions) we can try different premises (read assumptions) and see what else is possible. It is how we grow. And it is not easy, usually, because a part of us is resistant to change. But with change comes the fear of and the finding of God.

Psalms 55:17Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Today let us embrace change that we might fear God.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You, Father. Restore unto your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,817,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Elul 21, 6003 – September 2, 2018

Another Good Day

Our days are what we make them, for the most part. Yes, in truth we are really participating in God’s world. At the same time, He has given it to us to take charge of as managers and co-creators.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

We are meant to be like God. To the extent we follow His pattern, we have dominion. We can speak to the things of earth and they respond.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

So if we are like God we can create like Him within our dominion. We are to pray and believe everyday.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming blessing. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people Father, unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good. Send in quickly the $423,867,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak.

Yom Rishon, Elul 14, 6003 – August 26, 2018

Refusing To Give In

Tired of the attacks that come our way, we can do one thing to win. We can refuse to give in. We can hold on to the words we have been given by our Father.

Exodus 14:13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.for the…: or, for whereas ye have seen the Egyptians to day
14The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

The evil that comes against us, we can see it demolished before our faces forever. And while we want no harm to come to people, those that wish to kill and destroy us, regardless of their make-up, will be destroyed before our eyes if we refuse to give in to fear and keep moving forward.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Send us today Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your judgements among Your people. Help us to change to be more like You. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,877,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak.

Yom Rishon, Elul 7, 6003 – August 19, 2018

Getting Started

We may look at tasks in life as overwhelming. They do not have to be that way. We can in fact not be overwhelmed. Thinking about the feeling “overwhelming” we can see that there are many times in scriptures that the writer felt this same sense. David seemed to write about it often, and our Messiah quoted him from the cross.

Psalms 37:1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.my…: Heb. to me for a rock of strength
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

If we can just remember to speak the truth to the God of truth, He will deliver us from our troubles.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here in this earth, perfectly. Let Your Kingdom come here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us, please, to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people, Father. Restore all the worm has eaten of Your people’s efforts. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah, asking them of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 29, 6003 – August 12, 2018

Three Times At Least

Where can we as believers look to find comfort in our faith? If we look to the scriptures, it would appear that the answer is in prayer. David said he prayed three times a day.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

In troubled times, David cried out to our Father in prayer, and He heard David. That’s why he called out. We too can be comforted in times of need by calling our to our Father. He loves us and will care for us. He will bring us up, and set us on high.

Psalms 107:41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore Your people, Father. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 22, 6003 – August 5, 2018

Only One

Humans often seek comfort in many ways. It could be eating. For some it is alcohol. For others drugs. Some it might be music. Maybe sex. But in truth, our inner person seeks only one comfort. That comfort is the love of our Father. It is spending time with Him. It is knowing that He is there for us at all times, and that He really cares. Since He is, the question or the challenge becomes knowing that He is. We do this in one way. By spending time with Him daily, or even more often.

Psalms 55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

We must learn to trust in Him, that He is really there for us. And yet, if we will just spend time in prayer and reading scriptures, that will be the most natural thing in the world to have happen.

Psalms 119 ZAIN.
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here, wiping away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore us, Father, to be all that we are meant to be, even beyond where we have been. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. We ask all these things of You Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 15, 6003 – July 29, 2018

Knowing He Will

There is a difference between knowing God CAN do something and knowing He WILL do something. That difference is very important to all of us, really. We can think of it like a balancing point. Almost winning, which is really never quite getting there, on the CAN side. Success, victory, and God’s true reign on the WILL side. For many life is spent firmly on the CAN end, with the balance stuck to the ground. Some may occasionally venture toward that fulcrum in the middle. But if we want what we have been promised, then by faith we need to boldly walk or run past that tipping point and plant that balance firmly in the ground of WILL. As long as we stand on that end, we will continue to see our Father bring those things to pass.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

And again…

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So, we can be comforted knowing He WILL. We only need abide in our Father and Messiah.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your perfect will be done here as it is in heaven, so perfectly. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Deliver us from the evil that would beset us. Restore Your people unto You. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold, all that has been taken or held back of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom in the hearts and minds of mankind. We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 8, 6003 – July 22, 2018

For this day, just a scripture.

52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

55 I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

WE ask all these things in the name of YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach (Lord Jesus Christ). Amen.

Yom Rishon, Av 1, 6003 – July 15, 2018

Beauty For Ashes

In times when comfort feels good, there are any number of scriptures that drive home the point that our Father wants to comfort us. This is one of my favorites.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Our Messiah is very compassionate. He stood in the synagogue and read a portion of this scripture aloud.

Luke 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

He proclaimed. Then He sent the Comforter to us. And now we are His hands a feet. We are here to help thos in need.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here in this earth. Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts of mankind. Send us now Your provision, that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God here in the hearts of mankind. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah YAH Yeshuah (Lord Jesus Christ). Amen.

Yom Rishon, Tammuz 16, 6003 – July 8, 2018

Crying Out To God

When all the challenges of life come beating in on us, and our minds struggle to see a way through, we need a way to find peace. That peace comes from God alone. This is important to know because we need to get to the source of the struggles to put an end to them. The source of the struggle is evil trying to overcome the good, which originated for mankind in the garden of Eden. By doing obeying something other than God, they submitted themselves to that thing, the devil. At that point they became mixed with the evil, and we have been in a struggle against that evil ever since. The scriptures bear that out. But our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) made a very clear promise to us. He promised us comfort.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Today, we can know that our Father has the intention of keeping that promise, and what our Messiah said next.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

He is with us and inn us, and we in Him. That is a mystery, but true.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdome come here in the hearts of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven so perfectly. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Take away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us, and in their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You. Thank You for Your great love toward us. We need that love now. Thank You for giving us the power to become the sons of God. Help us to do that now. We pray that You help us to overcome the carnal mind, which is at enmity with You and Your Spirit. Renew us, and we shall be renewed. Save us, and we shall be saved. You are our King! Restore Your people today. Strike at the evil that tries to draw us away. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,923,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds of mankind. We pray for those that persecute us. We love You. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah YAH Yeshuah (Lord Jesus Christ). Amen.
