Newness Of Heart
We are given a new heart as believers, or at least that is what we are taught. But what does that mean? Well, likely it means that our heart is like our Father’s heart, I would guess. We have emotions more like God. Caring, loving, laughing, and so on are all things that I imagine Him doing. I do wonder about laughter though.
What is it like when God laughs? Does the ground shake here? Who does He slap on that back and say, “Good one! That was a good one!?” When He laughs, what to the angels do that are singing, “Glory, glory, glory” continually? Do they break character and snicker? Do they have midair collisions over the throne from their own laughter or the vibrations of His?
Anyway, if we have a clean heart, like David spoke about, what does that mean? Well, there is a scripture or two that reveals a part of this.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
It appears we can take comfort in knowing that YAH (the Lord) will place in us the Law with the spiritual understanding that Yeshuah (Jesus) was giving us that it is about changing on the inside. It is not the letter, although that is an important minimum. It is about the Knowing how to apply it on a deeper level.
Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Today, we can take comfort in knowing that our Father has provided for us to experience newness of heart. We just need to be willing.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. Let Your will be done perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people. Restore all that the worm has eaten. Restore one thousandfold all that the enemy has taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshauh HaMashiak. Amen.

Begin Beginning
On the first day of the week, we begin another seven days. Maybe we can use it to begin something else. Maybe we can begin to assist those around us with simple things, like shoveling the snow. Or maybe we can assist with helping with a meal, or a tank of gas, or just a smile and hello. Life is lived in the moment, not the future or the past. If we can remember to live it like that, we can do good for ourselves and others. What if everyone would help one other person today? What a world, right?
Romans 12:9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
It’s about the heart…
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here as it is perfectly done in heaven. Send us Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people unto You as in the garden. Restore unto Your people all that the worm has eaten. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold of that which is good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yashuah HaMashiak. Amen.

Homecoming
Back in the day, in high school, homecoming was such a big deal. Still is, I believe, for many people, especially those in high school or those associated with the schools. And there were some of my classmates that did not care much because they felt a bit left out. As I think about it, I have to wonder what was the attraction for us to be involved in homecoming, and why was it such a big deal? Maybe the whole group celebration thing is built into us as we look for a way to get home to our heavenly Father. Scriptures would support the idea that it is built into who we are.
Psalms 42:1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
Today we can be comforted in knowing that we all have a homecoming, and that it is with our Father.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in Heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might be filled, and that we might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all of the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore us, Father, unto You as You had meant it to be in the garden. Help us to find peace here, with joy in You. First For The First
This morning I begin a commitment to making myself better in many ways. Spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, etc. are all parts of who we are. We can sit in the back seat, or we can get behind the wheel prayerfully. I choose the latter. I want to intentionally choose those things to be in my life that are not caustic for me. What if we really can have a fuller life when we get older? What if life is meant to be great? We can, and it is!
Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Today, we can begin a new day and renewed living, if we choose it!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. There Comes A Time
In all life there comes a time for each and every thing that happens. It was Solomon I believe that wrote of this.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
There is comfort in knowing that there is a cycle and a pattern to life, and we need only plug in. Once we do that,we can trust our Father to get us through whatever we need to get past, because that is just who He is.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in Heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might be filled and overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil here. Remembering The Future
What if time is not as we think it is? What if all moments exist at the same moment? No, this is not a science fiction blog or debate. It is an attempt for us to try to get past the challenges of the moment and come to a conclusion about how to enjoy life. We can choose to set aside the past. We can choose not to worry about the future. We can choose the moment with our Father, and enjoy that moment together. Since He pre-exists time itself, we can know that we have a future with Him, and in it we are happy… now.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
We need you, Father. Always.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people here. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God and overflow to those around us. We all get to be people that shine forth with truth. The scriptures tell us that. Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. What we say and what we do, shines. Prayer
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Encouraging One Another
This is what we are called to do. We are meant to support one another. Like all things human, we will succeed sometimes, and we will fail. The important part is that we must try. Not try to be perfect. Just try, and be real. If we can pull that off, we will do well.
Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

You Are Loved
The good news in life is this: You are loved. Each of us is special to our Father. Each of us has the purpose within us to follow our Father and to do His will. He loves us, even when we make mistakes. This is one of the great things we have to appreciate with Him, that He truly cares.
Psalms 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
Never forget, He loves You.

Developing Character
I have often heard people discuss developing charater. Of course they were speaking of the positive traits we all aspire to and hope the same for our children. Considering it this morning, it seems to me that we all develop character as a part of our daily lives. It cannot be avoided. The question is, are we developing the character we want to develop or not.
Our character is developed by our thoughts, speaking, and actions. Several scriptures speak to this point.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Today, we can know that we can build the character we desire, if we will but concentrate on the things of our Father.
