Yom Shlishi, Nisan 9, 6003 – March 27, 2018
For The One
We are charged with building. We each have our own reasons for building. Some of these have always been true.
Nehemiah 1:3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.
4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,
5 And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:
6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.
And the response of those that watch…
Nehemiah 2:1 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?
4Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.
5 And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers’ sepulchres, that I may build it.9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king’s letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.
17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
So one of the reasons we need to build is because of the evil that has befallen us because of we and our fathers before us have sinned. We can repent for this sin. And what is the definition of sin, from the scriptures?
2 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
So if we were to use this definition plugged back in to this scripture from the second letter by Joh, we get the following…
2 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the Law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our transgressions of the Law; and in him is no transgression of the Law.
6Whosoever abideth in him does not transgress the Law: whosoever transgresses the Law hath not seen him, neither known him.
Therefore, we, the remnant, are called to repent for our transgressions of the Law, and the transgressions of the Law od our fathers. And we are to build up the new Jerusalem and the walls around it.
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Jeremiah 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
Today, let us be those that turn from our own ways and understanding, and turn to Yahuah (Lord). Let us rebuild Jerusalem and the walls around her.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds of mankind. Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven, where the rises without fail, and melts the dew from the land. Send us now Your provision, that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil in the hearts and minds of the people here, and us. Wipe away the thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love toward us. Send us love that it might overflow to those around us. Only You can deliver, Father. Only You are our King. Only You truly rule. Rise up, my King, and restore one thousandfold today all the good that has been taken or eaten or held back by the enemy. Let Michael come forth even now! Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might spread the good news that YAH is on our side, and care for Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things of You in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
