Don’t Hurry
This morning I was in conversations with people around the globe. It is very interesting that we have this media that gets us around the world in real time. After giving it some thought, I decided to give myself permission to interrupt what I thought was important and listen to God. After all, what does God say about taking time to interact with others that are believers?
Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Setting aside everyone’s concern for the implications of this scripture with regard to material goods, let’s take a moment to dwell on the importance of the rest. They spent time with one another. Like us, I am certain they had lives. And yet, they took the time to share in each others’ lives.
Today, reach out and bless a brother or sister with a word of edification, a kind word, or even food, clothing, and shelter. You will be the better for it.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Keep us from temptations, and deliver us from evil. Deliver me Father, from the evil plans that men have for me, and confound their plans. May they lose track. Bless Jamil as he seeks Your face. Bless Akhil to hear and speak. Send in quickly $100,000 that it might overflow to those around me. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
