Yom Shishi, Tevet 13, 6003 – December 21, 2018
Overcoming Adversity
Adversity is not something we are meant to face and overcome on our own. We are meant to be a people that goes to our Father in everything we do. We are meant to try to do a great many things, and in the doing of these things we are meant to be with our Father.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We see here that our Father created a world. Then He created replicas of Himself to rule reign over the creation. He spent time with them as they did their work.
Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
We see that we are to be with our Father, and to take back the earth for Him. But we do that with Him, not on our own. We are meant to rule and reign here. He created us to do that and gave us the power to do that. If we will call out to Him, and sing praises and thanks to Him, we will be like Him and with Him.
Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.
17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Today, let us sing to YAH!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in this earth. Let Your will be done here perfectly as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that we might overflow to those around us. Deliver us from the evil that would keep us from forgiveness. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore Your people, Father. Help us to sing. Restore all that the worm has eaten of that which was with or was destined to be with Your people. Restore one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Hear my cry, O King, and arise today. Hear my cry O King, and send in quickly the $423,503,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom of God in the hearts and the minds and the bodies of the people here. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMoshiach. Amen.
