Yom Shishi, Fourth Month 21, 6006 – July 9, 2021
Feet Matter
Interestingly enough I started to write this and was pulled away. And I think that is the way of it, right? We have to live here and we also are to promote YAH’s kingdom here in this earth. It is not an easy thing, but it is a possible thing for us. At least I am convinced it must be possible for me. I serve the living and true YAH, and He does not let me down. But our feet do matter. Here is one scripture that discusses the what happens with the feet.
Proverbs 6:12 A naughty person, a wicked man,
Walketh with a froward mouth.
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet,
He teacheth with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually;
He soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly;
Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
We see that this person speaks with their feet and teaches with their fingers. Where we walk is a declaration it would seem, and people learn from what we do. There are several scriptures that also talk about the feet and where we walk.
Joshua 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
Here YAH was telling Joshua that where he walked was already given to him. When YAH gives us a promise to a possession, then that possession is ours when we “walk” onto it. In this case and others, it means to literally walk. Nahum also speaks of this.
Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
And Paul quotes Nahum in teaching about keeping the commandments.
Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
So we see that our feet help us to say and do the good news. The good news is keeping the feasts of YAH keep out the enemy, and destroy him from our midst.
Prayer
Father, I exalt You. You alone are my King. I praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send me now Your provision. Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions, and help me to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against me. Deliver me from the evil here. Restore unto me sevenfold all that has been taken in my life O King. I declare it now. I ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
