Begin Somewhere

So many times in my own life as I look at how much there can be to work on in a certain area, I can become overwhelmed. That is true for many of us. We can get “stopped” in making progress toward a goal. We can become overwhelmed, regardless of the task. Interestingly enough, these tasks can be different for different people. What overwhelms one person gets another person fired up to do something. Let me give an example. I enjoy doing dishes because I like developing systems for doing things quickly, and then using those systems. My wife does not do things this way, so it takes her longer and she does not prefer to do them. But it is exactly the same task. What is the difference? The way we each view the task is the only difference. And we can start that with an attitude that helps us. And we can start that attitude by what comes out of our mouth.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

What Paul is saying is that with faith we say things out of our mouth and then get to live them. The last word in verse nine is the Greek work meaning wholeness or completeness. It is not just referring to someday in the sweet by and by. It is referring to right now and the ability to be healed and blessed in every way. Praise God!

Toady, let’s begin somewhere by speaking positively, saying what our Messiah would say.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed and transgressed against us. Restore our health and freedom on the inside. Restore our health and freedom on the outside. Rise up, my King, and deliver us from the evil here. Restore one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
