Yom Sheni, Nissan 12, 6005 – April 6, 2020

What Were They Thinking?

This time of year, as we approach Passover, I cannot help but think about how the Israelites must have felt in Egypt as they were approaching the Passover. I say this because it appears they knew about this particular plague for a couple weeks.

Exodus 12:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

The rest of this chapter and the next is worth reading. But imagine having seen the previous nine plagues, and now you hear this and have to think about it for two weeks.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Deliver me from the evil plans that men have for me. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
