Yom Shabbat, Third Month 17, 6006 – June 5, 2021
Sabbath Freedom
The first thought that came to my mind this morning as I thought about the Sabbath was freedom. I find that quite interesting. It is interesting to me because there tens to be a fairly legalistic approach to life on the Sabbath by those that keep it, or so is my experience. but like all things, perhaps there is something to this that YAH wants me to see. I can see one freedom immediately. Freedom from the bondage of this reality if we can adhere to the teachings of YAH, one of which is the Sabbath. Thinking of the Red Sea, I remember what Moses said to the people regarding their pursuers the Egyptians.
Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
So YAH drowned what was considered to be the strength of the Egyptians, namely their army, covering them and their chariots and horses with water. And that was after He got them on the sea bed and made the wheels fall of the chariots.
Today, I choose to think of the freedom provided by YAH in His patterns of resonance in the earth.
Prayer
Father, I exalt You. You alone are King. You are my King. I praise the name YAHUAH. I praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send me now Your overwhelming provision that I might overflow to those in need. Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions, and help me to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against me. Deliver me from the evil here. Deliver me from the evil pans that men have for me. Keep me from the temptations that would lead me from You. This is Your kingdom and power and the glory is all Yours. Show Yourself strong on my behalf O King. Let there be a flood of prosperity and shalom and healing power overflow me. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
