Yom Shabbat, Tevet 24, 6004 – December 21, 2019
With Friends
When I think of the Sabbath, like most, I think of spending time with YAH our Father. That is good thing. But I also think about, in retrospect, it is a time to be with friends. It is a time to speak from the heart. And possibly most important, to listen to people tell their story. Everyone has a story that they want others to hear. That is a part of the reason for the Sabbath, I suggest. YAH wants us to be family.
Psalms 133 A Song of degrees of David.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Today, we can find a way to a better place. Let’s just be family.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of the people. Let Your will be done here, just as it is done perfectly in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Keep us from temptations, Father, and deliver us from the evil here. This is Your place, the kingdom and the power are Yours. Glorify Yourself through our lives and show the world that You alone, the King, have done these things. Let the substance flow. Let the carriage be released. Let Wisdom have her way, and deliver to us the great riches. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
