Simplicity Works
There are times when simplicity is a good way to go. This is one of those days. At service, we received some insights about the Pharisees. In particular, we were encouraged to see what Yeshuah was trying to say to them. One particular point being made was to not be one that points the finger. It reminded me of one of my favorite scriptures.
Luke 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Let us be humble and seek our Father continually.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good and all the goods that have been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things of You Father King, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen and Amen.
