Yom Shabbat, Cheshvan 27, 6005 – November 14, 2020

You Need The Rest

It is interesting the way that we are encouraged to seek out a day of rest. First, YAH showed us that He set it aside for something.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Then when Yeshuah came to earth, He spoke of the relationship that man has with the Sabbath in this way.

Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

We do not serve the Sabbath. It was made for us to rest. We should do all we can to set it aside as holy (set apart) from the other days. There is freedom in YAH.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, and the more besides. Bing in the people, Father. Bring in the 1,000, the 10,000, and the 15,000 and then multiply these numbers. We ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
