Making Life Happen
In the mix of predestination and free will is what we call life. Both God’s plan and our actions are required for the future to become the past. Yet, we live in the moment, not the future or the past. So, what does this mean for those of us that want or need to process the “now” but want “to do the right thing”? It seems like it must begin with relationship with our Father. And, knowledge of scriptures is also helpful.
Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
From David’s writings here we can see that our Father is with us at all times, guiding our path and making a place for us. And we know that the scriptures contain the Law, commands and precepts necessary for us to plot out our future.
Proverbs 7:1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
Let us seek out what our Father has ordained before the world began. Let us seek His wisdom.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here in this earth, and let Your kingdom come here in the hearts and minds and bodies of Your people. Send us now Your provision that we might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Wipe away all thoughts and memories of the evil done to us or by us. In their place let there be only thoughts and memories of You and Your love for us. Restore unto your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back in any way of that which is good, and the more besides. Send in quickly the $423,817,962.53 that we might use it to promote the kingdom here in the hearts, minds, and bodies of the people. We ask all these things of You, Father, in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiak. Amen.
