Yom R’vi’i, Fifth Month 3, 6006 – July 21, 2021
Deliver Me
Many times we see in the Psalms that the write, mostly David, would call out to YAH for deliverance. Today that term has come to mean something a bit different in some circles, meaning to be delivered from demonic or dark forces within us. While that is one possibility, it is not the only possibility. We can also be attacked or oppressed by forces external to us. These forces can be human, human initiated, spiritual, or spiritually initiated. All of these types of attacks or general oppressions are good reasons to call out to YAH for His help. His help to escape these attacks and oppressions is what David was crying out for with the cry for deliverance. Hanna also said these same things.
1 Samuel 2:7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich:
He bringeth low, and lifteth up.
8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
And lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill,
To set them among princes,
And to make them inherit the throne of glory:
For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s,
And he hath set the world upon them.
9 He will keep the feet of his saints,
And the wicked shall be silent in darkness;
For by strength shall no man prevail.
10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces;
Out of heaven shall he thunder upon them:
The LORD shall judge the ends of the earth;
And he shall give strength unto his king,
And exalt the horn of his anointed.
And YAH said the same thing through Jeremiah to the nation of Israel.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
This is the theme that runs throughout scripture. YAH is there to deliver us in our time of need.
Prayer
Father, I exalt You. You are my King, and I am not King. You are my King, and I am not King. I praise the name YAHUAH! I praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Let me be one of Your vessels YAH to transform the earth. I love You. Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions, and help me to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against me. Deliver me from the evil here, and destroy the evil plans that men have for me. Keep me from temptations YAH. For the mind can be tricked and distracted, but You can renew us. I love You. I love You. I love You. Thank you for the prosperity that You have already set in motion, and the shalom You have sent my way. The people need healing YAH. They need Your healing touch. Please heal Your people YAH. I ask all these things of You Father King, for You alone can change all things. I ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
