A Promise Is A Promise

There are so many promises to us as believers. Our Father never fails. He always protects us.

Dueteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Through His Son Yeshuah (Jesus) He makes all things possible for us.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

This statement does not say we can do it but rather that our Messiah will do it. There is somethig we can do, which is the believing part.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

When we seek the kingdom and His righteousness FIRST, then God adds everything else, including our requests. Here is another older example of seeking first the kingdom.

Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

And here is the promise that we seek.

Isaiah 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward.
9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
11 And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Our Father made these promises to us, and ALWAYS does what He says.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Today let us remember that we have so many great promises and God does not lie. We cannot do these things, but we can believe and trust in God that He will do them. A promise is a promise.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Restore unto Your people a clean heart that we might show Your will in the earth. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins and blot out our transgressions from before Your face and before men. Heal those with broken hearts. Restore unto Your people all that has been lost, taken away, or held back in any way from Your people. We need Your mercy and Your grace today. We ask all these things in the name of Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
