Listening Closely Helps

If we can quiet ourselves, it is easier to hear what our Father is trying to say to us. Hearing clearly is helpful in trying to act on our Father’s words. In scriptures, the word translated “hear” actually often means “hear and do.” When we “hear and do”, we are conducting spiritual warfare. This is one of those scriptures.

Deuteronomy 6:3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.teach: Heb. whet, or, sharpen
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Cleanse our hearts and minds. Deliver us from evil. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back inn any way from Your people, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things in Your name, Father, the name of YAH! Amen.
