For Our Father
It is a challenge in these days and times to remember that we are on a mission given to us by a higher authority, or at least it can be difficult to remember. We are prone to letting our surroundings dictate our responses to life. There is another way, I believe. I have caught a glimpse of it at times. In this other way there are certain methods of operation that the whole world complies with without reservation. Moses first described it.
Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Paul quoted Moses.
Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
And this is the very same message that our Messiah shared with Peter.
Mark 11:21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
We need forgiveness. Without it, the Law condemns us to receive many curses. Yeshuah (Jesus) gave us some wonderful insights here. We have to forgive others if we want forgiveness. It is one of the main messages of the Law. If we love one another (yes, that includes forgiving) then we fulfill the Law. If we fulfill the Law, then we receive the blessings of the Law that Moses spoke about. We are meant to be different from those around us. And we can give thanks to our Father for making it possible to be like Him.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. Praise the name YAH. Let Your kingdom come here and let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us today Your abundant provision that it might overflow from us to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespass or transgress against us. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all that has been taken or held back of that which is good. Send in quickly the $424,523,962.53 that we might use it to promote Your kingdom. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH. We ask all these things in the name YAH Yeshuah. Amen.
