It Is Not A Man

When we find ourselves feeling like life is overwhelming, we only need pause the thought process just a bit. Stopping to remember those moments when our Father was very large on our behalf will be most helpful to us. IA friend was recently telling me a story about how someone he had done work for refused to pay him the agreed upon amount. Several things came up in that conversation. The first is a warning for that person that held back the money.

James 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

What I reminded my friend is that there is something to be thankful for in all this.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

And what is it that our Father promises to us?

Psalms 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Today, we can be happy that our Father is not a man, and that He will do what He has promised.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name YAH! Let Your will be done here as it is in heaven. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against us. Wipe away all thoughts or memories of the evil done to us or by us. Replace them with thoughts and memories of only You. Heal up our hearts and minds. Deliver us from the evil here. Restore unto Your people one thousandfold all the good that has been taken or held back in any way, of lands, and possessions, and jewels, gold and silver, and great wealth, and relationships. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). We ask all of these things of You, Father, in Your name YAH! Amen.
