Sincere Thankfulness

Blessed are You Yahuah (Lord), King of the universe! Many times I have said these words as a way of saying thank you to our Father. As I examine myself in the saying of these words, I want to pause, to think about all I have to be thankful for to our Father. How many times do we reply thanks to someone as almost an expected courtesy, without thinking? For me, I would say that is frequent. Today, as I meditate on scripture and think of all I have to be thankful to our Father for now, it makes me want to be deeply sincere in my heart. For me, that takes a moment to meditate on what He has done.

Psalms 107:1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.south: Heb. sea
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

Today let us meditate on Yahuah”s (Lord’s) goodness. Let us give thanks to Him that has saved us, and everyday delivers us from our enemies, destroying their every work. Blessed be God, King of the universe!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Father, let Your will be in this earth! Give us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed against us. Let us live in peace and unity together. Restore unto Your people all good things – prospering every work of our hands for good – all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
