Worship As Warfare
There are many types of spiritual warfare, and many reasons for deliberately entering into the battle. We may not always be consciously involved in the battle, but we are the subject of it. Our enemy is relentless in trying to harm us and our loved ones. We can be equally relentless in pushing back. We do it by calling on the name of Yahuah (Lord) just as David did. The result is the whole earth trembles at His judgements as He sets things right.
Psalms 99:1 The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
2 The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
4 The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.
7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
8 Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.
It is not that God will not address our sin. He has, He does, and He will. But when we humble ourselves in the earth, His footstool, and call upon Him praising the name Yahuah (Lord), He delivers us. Praise the name of Yahuah (Lord)!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of our praise. You are King. We praise the name Yahuah (Lord)! Send us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us for our sin and separate it from us. Heal us and deliver us. Show Yourself strong on our behalf. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
