Power In Thinking

Recently our Father helped me to find an answer to a question that I had been asking Him. I have heard many people talk about visioning in the mind what we want to have or to have happen. For me, there seemed to be a difference between the strength of different things I can “see” through imagination in my mind. There have been times when the things I imagine have a greater clarity or almost 3D like quality. Other times they are “flat” more like forced fleeting pictures. It has been easy for me to pray for the former with conviction. The latter not so much. The challenge for me comes in wanting to please the Father and pray for what He wants me to pray for with faith. Last evening He showed me a way to add strength to those things I ask in prayer.

When evil thoughts come in any form, they can be intense. For me they usually come with strong emotion or even mental pictures. When this happened and I was trying to fight it off, I imagined one of the things I had been praying for happening in my mind. Suddenly that image of good took over the negative image but had the same “strength” of vision and force. This morning I have been trying to do this as well, and so far it is successful. I am not saying that these prayers will come to pass. I am still working on these prayers. What I am saying for sure is I can get rid of the evil and overtake it with good if I do this substitution at the moment of the evil that comes against my mind. Certainly using this to add power to that which is good will not be a bad thing, and I can escape the grips of evil.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

There is one more thing I do know so far. We must add to this thinking the words from our mouth.

Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We praise the name Yahuah! Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us. Restore unto Your people one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
