Pulling Up
Our efforts for the kingdom in our lives are much like a game of tug-of-war that we played as children. When we think of the game the goal is to pull the other team on to your side of the line. Our enemy is constantly trying to do that to us as well as those around us. Our Father is constantly trying to pull us to His side. It seems as humans we live in the middle at the knot, sometimes on one side and sometimes on the other.
Romans 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
So, in the end, we must constantly pray to overcome the evil in our members. We need to on our Father’s side, pulling up to the kingdom, building a better life day by day.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We praise the name Yahuah. Let us pull up and build Your kingdom here. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from the thief. Restore unto Your people, Father, one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
