Holding On, Holding Up
Mostly we are a people that love to serve our God, and our fellow believer. Sometimes, however, we may find it is a struggle to lay down our our desires and pride to help our fellow man. We are human, and with humanity comes sin. But there may be a middle ground where we can move to if we cannot be actively helping someone. It would not be a place where you would want to stay because chances are, you would slip and fall to a place where you actively turn away from helping another person. This is a place in between. A place where we do no harm.
1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
If we cannot do good at the moment, then we should pray that we do no harm while we are working toward the ability to do good to our neighbors. Our Father will here us, and help us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us Your overwhelming provision. Heal us. Deliver us from the thief. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
