Allowing For Set
When we lay a foundation, build a brick wall, or try to add to what we know and believe, we have to allow for “Set.” Concrete has to reach a certain level of harness before we can apply weight to it. The mortar in a brick wall has to dry and set enough after a few layers of brick before we can add more layers. The same is true in our lives. We have to build up and make firm that which we have learned. It has to set within us, and be tested, to make certain it can endure the full weight of life. This is the way of things, the process by which our Father builds us up.
1 Peter 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Yahuah (Lord) uses these trials to purify and refine our faith. We can count on Him to see us through.
Prayer
Father, we exalt. You are King! Bless the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here through us. Send us now Your overwhelming provision, greater than we can imagine or contain. Forgive us our sins. Heal us up in our hearts and minds. Deliver us from our enemies. Restore unto Your people that which has been taken or held back one hundred times one hundredfold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
