A Means To Victory

This morning as I was praying the Father showed me something that I believe many of us have known about in our heads. What is in our mind is what we become, as the scriptures indicate.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

This scripture is likely not new to those that read this. But there was something new for me in it this morning. As I prayed I was seeking Yahuah’s (Lord’s) direction for life in general, and more specifically to win in the multiple areas that are before me and my family. It is at that moment that He showed me that there is a connection between what we dwell on and our actions and our reality. Perhaps the difference was how clear that connection seemed today with His revealing it to me. It made me want to use this as a tool for warfare. As I thought on this, another scripture came to me that really seemed to tie in to this idea.

Phillipians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Here we see the direction for how to use the tool of becoming what we think. We ask God in prayer for what we need. Peace will come to our minds, and there is a list of things for us to actively to think about in our minds. We need to aggressively put those thoughts in our minds and reject all other thinking. The result then is to do as Paul did. This is one way to do spiritual warfare.

Though these scriptures are not new, and the concept is not new, the revelation and impact of them was for me more profound than in times past. Perhaps this will help you as well. Praise Yahuah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! We love and appreciate You. We bless the name Yahuah! We long to live daily in Your kingdom. Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Heal up our hearts. Deliver us from evil that would steal from us what You alone have provided. Come with a strong hand to deliver Your people Yahuah. We ask all these things in the name of Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
