Hearing The Footsteps…
When we walk out our faith in Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus), we walk into many interesting situations of life, or at least we might. It is in those encounters that we learn a great deal about us and about our faith. We can also learn to listen closely. When we do, we hear our Father Yahuah (Lord) looking for us, like He did Adam and Eve.
Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
When we make mistake, when we stray from our Father’s path, He does not chase us to beat us with a stick. I comes to get us, trying to restore us to Himself.
Luke 15:1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) spoke in a parable, but it was an accurate description. It is exactly what our Father did in the garden. It is again what He did in Egypt during the Exodus. And it is what He is doing in our day, calling His people out of the harlot. Today, we can be comforted in knowing that if we listen, we will hear the sound of our Father coming to find us to bring us to His path.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are King. We ask that You send us Your kingdom today. Praise the name Yahuah! Send us now Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins. Heal us and deliver us from those that would steal from us what You have provided. In Yeshuah’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
