Living Will

For many, this title brings to mind the legal document that discusses how we want our end of life to turn out. It would also be good to think about the will it takes to live. For some people, this means nothing because they do not stop to think about life. They go through the motions and stack one day upon another. Life is “okay” for them. They get but with acceptable comfort. But there are those among us for whom life is a series of struggles and drudgery. For those people, often there is that moment of consideration of whether to move forward or not. At those moments it take the will to live. Think of those with debilitating diseases, perhaps in great pain during recovery from an accident, or some other struggle. Here is what we can do. We can pray for them, and offer some hope.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Today, let’s remember those that may be hurting, and pray for their peace and hope.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are the King of hope. We bless the name Yahuah. Send today Your overwhelming provision. Heal us and deliver us. Give those that are downtrodden reason for hope. Let them see Your light today. We ask these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
