Following The Lead

We can try to figure things out on our own and go our own directions as we see fit. There may be successes there, or there may not. However, we can also pray, and then listen. We can let our Father tell us what we should do, and do that. This latter approach guarantees only one type of success. Over time, if we practice, we will get very good at hearing what our Father tells us to do. We become our Messiah’s sheep, hearing only His voice.

John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

Here we see that there is one Shepherd that we want to hear. If we ask Him to teach us to hear only Him, will He not certainly do it?

Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

We have a Father that loves us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are King. We love You and long for Your kingdom. Praise the name Yahuah! We call to Your kingdom, and long to be in it. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us for our sins. Heal up our hearts. Cover us. Deliver us from the thief that kills and destroys. Restore unto us one hundred times one hundred fold. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
