We Have Peace

It is interesting that one of the gifts given to us by our Messiah is peace.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The peace here means freedom from the rage and havoc of war, resulting in security, safety, and great prosperity. Yet we know we are called to the battle of spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

So, this makes me ask the question, just how do we prepare for battle and do battle, yet we have this amazing freedom from the havoc and rage of war? It is because the prince of the power of the air has already been cast out and defeated, and his dark forces with him.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

With the battle already decided, and our Father is the winner, we win each time we engage the enemy without experiencing the rage and the havoc of the war. We have safety, security, and prosperity. We slay the enemy with the sword of the Spirit, which is the rhema of praying in the Spirit according to Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

On this Sabbath day, let us pray in the Spirit to slay the enemy and his evil ones, and with the trust in God and His rewards for service as our shield, deflect any attacks He sends our way.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise and bless the name Yahuah! Let Your will be here on this earth as it is in heaven. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision such that it overflows to those around us. Forgive and completely blot out and cover all our transgressions and trespasses, and help us all to forgive all those that have trespassed or transgressed against us, completely blotting out all the thoughts, emotions, and memories of any evil done by any, especially us. Fill up these voids with Your joy and perfect love, healing our hearts, our minds, and our physical bodies completely. Let now be the time of peace and restoration for Your people. Restore right relationships of unity among us. Restore substance and prosperity one hundredfold of all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Let all men know that You alone have done these things, that You alone are God and King! Rise up, O King, and strike, delivering us from all evil and opening up the great treasuries that You have saved up for us, even today let it be so. And let this be only the beginning. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
