Family And Friends

Today my wife and youngest daughter have traveled to see my oldest daughter at her house. We had good travels and some fun times making homemade pizza last night. We sometimes do not see eye to eye on things. As I considered this point, it made me think of something our Messiah said to His followers in His day.

Matthew 12:46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Our Father Yahuah (Lord) has set in place this creation. It is meant to work in a certain manner. That way is the commandments established by Him from of old. We are a family in God. Today, on the Sabbath, let us remember who our family is, and let us pray that all men come into the understanding of who our Father Yahuah (Lord) is to us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of praise. We lift on high and praise the name Yahuah (Lord). Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us when we sin. Heal us and deliver us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

We Are Built For Praise

Our Father is full of mercy and grace towards His people, toward us. He loves us and cares for us. We know that when we sleep, He watches over us.

Psalms 3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

We see hear that David trusted in Yahuah (Lord) even in the middle of battle. Even there David knew He could lay down to sleep and God had his back through the night. Imagine knowing that even on the battlefield we have the ultimate protection! It is clear to me that David had an attitude toward Yahuah (Lord) that caused him to praise Yahuah (Lord) and His name at all times. David said that Yahuah’s (Lord’s) song was with him even in the night.

Psalms 42:8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

Last night in my dreams I began to praise Yahuah (Lord). This is interesting because I am not gifted with a good singing voice. Even more interesting was the fact that I actually physically began to sing while I was yet asleep. After a few verses I woke myself up and I was still singing. I stopped and sat up to see if I had awakened my wife, but she was still asleep. In that moment I felt the great comfort that Yahuah (Lord) is to us. I knew He was watching over us. We are built to praise Yahuah (Lord).

Beyond Measure

Those of us that are believers are in a very envious position. We have a God, the Ruler of everything, that is on our side and wants to give us good things. Yeshua (Jesus) spoke of this.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

God loves us and wants us to have the good things in life that come from following the law and the prophets in service to Yeshua (Jesus). This blessing comes from the Source for everything, our Creator, Yahuah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy to receive glory and honor. We praise Your name, Yahuah (Lord)! Your kingdom is our desire. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Guide us and keep us. Forgive us when we sin. Heal us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

Taking Up The Battle Call

When we become believers we are called. One of the actions that we are called to is the call to battle. We all are under the attack of our enemy.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Even though there is this invisible power that is out to kill us and steal from us, we do not have to just lie down and let it roll over us. On the contrary, we are equipped to fight back.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

In this we see that we are called and equipped to fight against the enemy. Our power is in our God, Yahuah (Lord). We can trust in Him to fight with us as we put on the whole armor of God. Don’t let the evil one run over you today. Fight back! Praise the name of Yahuah (Lord) our God, and He will rise up and destroy the enemy.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy to be praised. You stood from before time began, and You created this place. We exalt Your name, Yahuah (Lord). We need Your kingdom. Send us Your abundant provision today. Forgive us our sin. Help us to return to Your ways. Help us to find Your will for our lives, and to do it. Heal us from within. Deliver us from the evil that would steal and destroy in our lives. Grind to powder our enemies. Restore unto us the position You have for us. Deliver our land from the thieves that would steal it. Show us a sign for good. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Growing Up

Our walk with God results in us changing over time. There was a time early on in my walk when I thought I had learned all I needed to know about God. I thought that everything that needed to be known had already been revealed. These days I think that is a process that never really ends. We continually grow.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We see here that there are positions in the church that are meant to serve the rest of the body of believers. These servants and these positions are in place until “we all come into the unity of the faith.” As I look around it is my estimate that we are not there yet. If that is true, then we all need to continue to learn. The exciting thing to me is that there is so much to learn! We could learn for a lifetime and never learn it all!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We praise and lift up the name Yahuah! We need You and Your kingdom. Send us Your overwhelming provision now. Heal us and guide us. Let us serve You and each other. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

God Gives Power To Us

This morning as I prepare to head off to teach a class, I am reminded of a scripture that often encourages me.Our Father, Yahuah (Lord), always looks out for our good. He created us. He created this entire planet and everything that is in it. Since that is true, we also know that He is the ultimate ruler over all of it. And He has created a way for us to walk in that will be a blessing to us. He has annointed his direction to be the one that provides blessing. Here is the scripture.

Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Yahuah (Lord) our God is establishing His covenant in this earth. Nothing will stop that. He has given those that foolow His covenant the power to get wealth. If we will acknowledge our God Yahuah (Lord) and His covenant, we can have the power to get wealth to further the covenant in the earth. Praise the name Yahuah!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of our praise. We lift on high the name Yahuah (Lord), for our King reigns! We ask that Your establish Your kingdom here. Send us wealth today Father. Send us overwhelming provision today. Let Your healing fall upon Your people. Deliver us from the evil that would steal from us what You have given to us. Do not let the evil take the inheritance of Your people. Deliver us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Snow And More Snow

Today we have the beauty that follows immediately after a blizzard. Every branch is dripping with glistening white jewels. The slightest of breezes or the movement of a squirrel through the tree tops causes fairy dust like streaks of the whitest snow to fall, with sparkles that dance in the sunlight. It reminds me of Isaiah’s words.

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Yesterday we went to a funeral and then to the gathering after. We drove the normal eighteen minute journey in about two hours each way. There were many white outs along the way, and we were praying constantly. In this I was in agreement with Paul.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

It worked! Each time we were stopped and prayed, there would be a sudden clearing and we could see the yellow lines in the center of the road. We could tell if we were on or off track. We were able to make the appropriate course correction. This is what God has done for us with His commandments. He gives us the path if we call out to Him. If we slow down and wait upon Him, He will show us the way. He will give us the course corrections we need. Praise the name Yahuah (Lord) forever!

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of all praise and honor. We love You. We praise the name Yahuah (Lord). Send us Your overwhelming abundant provision today Yahuah. Forgive us our sin. Heal us from our past hurts. Heal our bodies. deliver us from the evil that would take from us what You have given to us. Hear us out of Egypt. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

A Love Reminder

There are many who celebrate this day as a holiday of love and hearts. Others say that there is a certain evil history to the day. I remain uncertain. One thing I do know is that people tend to think of love on this day. Many things happened this day for me. Through them all I was reminded of who our God Yahuah (Lord) is. When I think of what He has done is doing and will do for us all, I am over whelmed by His love. I would like to offer these words of praise to Him for His words and His love they comfort me.

Psalms 119:76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

Our Father has given us His wisdom and commandments through His words. They restore us and keep us alive. Psalms 119 in particular is an excellent source of comfort. Today if you need comfort, rest in His word.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy to be praised. Thank You for life. We praise Your name Yahuah (Lord). Let Your kingdom reign. Send us Your overwhelming provision. Lift us up and help us walk in Your ways when we falter. Forgive us and show us Your mercy. Heal us and we will be healed. Deliver us from the evil all around. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Psalms 134

1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Today, I had a friend that was going through great struggle today. We spent much time together talking on the phone. I was saddened that he was in a troubling situation. It caused me to call out to our God, Yahuah (Lord), on his behalf.

If you know someone struggling today, pray for them, and reach out to comfort them.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy to be praised. We love You, and we exalt the name Yahuah (Lord) above all names. Send us Your overwhelming provision today. You alone are worthy to be praised. Heal us and help the poor and needy, the down trodden in life. Give them Your peace, and deliver them from the evil in this world. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Open Doors

The snow has stopped, at least for the moment. Not long ago I would lament the winters. Not that I still do not really enjoy the warm weather, it’s just different now. Our Father created this world for us to enjoy. It is like a gift to us. If I were to continue to speak evil of it, it would be like telling Him I do not like His gift. Instead, I try to find the good in it. I am not saying it is easy, or that I get it right all the time. What I am saying is it took me a really long time to start to try to see things from our Father Yahuah’s (Lord’s) perspective. I don’t want to lose that desire. It is like an open door to God’s world, and I want that door to always be open. The Angel that spoke to John quoted Isaiah about this.

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

He was speaking of opening the door to the house of David, which is Israel. We can have an open door to all that God promised Israel if we can have a thankful heart at all times.

1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Our God Yahuah (Lord) is with us and calls us to the house of David through our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). I can never thank Him enough.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of all praise and honor. We exalt Your name Yahuah (Lord), the name above all names. You alone are our King and we long for Your kingdom in this earth. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Heal our hearts. Deliver us from the evil that would steal from us what You have give. Stand and defend us Yahuah (Lord) that all men might know it is You alone that has done these things. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
