Help From Within
In the day to day challenges we face in life we can find it difficult to keep everything together and moving forward. It can be a lot. But we can take courage in knowing that our heavenly Father, Yahuah (Lord), is ever looking out for us and ready to help. He knows what we need even before we ask.
Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Sometimes there can be something like a voice in our head that tells us we are not worth what we are asking God to do. The great news is that condemnation is not from God.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The truth is, God gives us His blessings because of who He is, not because of who we are.
Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
We dwell forever in the house of Yahuah (Lord), not just when we “do good” and act the way we should.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
So we can have this confidence within ourselves, no matter our state, when we want to cry out to God for His help, we can and He will hear us. He is our loving heavenly Father, and He longs to care for us. And He always will.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High God. You are our King and we are Your servants. We praise and thank the name of Yahuah (Lord). Send us Your overwhelming provision today. Forgive us for our sins. We want to want to follow You and do good. Please help us. Heal up our hearts. Help us to believe and trust in You. Deliver us from those that would take from us all that You have given. There are many that would steal from Your servants. There are many that eat away at the blessings You have provided. Deliver us with a Mighty Hand that all may know that You alone have done this. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Comfort In Knowing
We all know that there is a God, One True God. He wants us to experience life with Him in a very personal way. He wants us to know that He is our Father and our God. The challenge for us can be in understanding the reality of that very relationship. It is real. He wants to care for us, and does, even when we make mistakes as children do. He is our God.
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Let us say unto each other such things as cause us to believe and trust in Yahuah (Lord) to deliver us.
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
We are a people; we are His people. He loves us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our God and King. We praise the name Yahuah (Lord). We give thanks to the name Yahuah (Lord) for You are good! Send us now Your overflowing provision. Let the barns and the bank accounts of Your people be filled to overflowing that we might bless the nations and advance Your kingdom throughout the earth. Send Your healing power through Your servants the we would be called ambassadors for healing. Let Your mighty hand begin a great deliverance in the earth and trample underfoot the evil that would steal from Your people that which You have given. Let every system and thing that would exalt itself against Your name Yahuah (Lord) be cast down and ground to powder. Let all men know that You alone have done this, and that Yahuah alone is God over the earth. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Sabbath Learning
At service we learn many things about our God. While I have been many places to hear what a man will say, At fellowship we simply read portions of scriptures and talk about them. It gives us opportunity to hear what God is speaking to each of us. I have come to see the Sabbath as not only a time of rest, but a time of learning about our God. It is a time of richness because of the learning that takes place. It causes me to have an even greater sense of enjoyment in the day of rest.
Proverbs 4:1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
3 For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Let us take time on every Sabbath to rest with and learn from Yahuah (Lord) our God.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of all praise and honor. We praise and thank the name Yahuah (Lord). You are our King. Give us Your abundant provision. Let Your healing power flow among Your people. Let there be deliverance in the house of Yahuah (Lord). In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

Simply Amazing
Today as I was driving to work the thought of how God holds everything together. This will be one of those times when I just leave you with a scripture that speaks of the wonders created by our God, Yahuah (Lord).
Psalm 139:1 O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High. You Alone are worthy to be praised We praise and give thanks to Your name, Yahuah (Lord). Send us Your provision. Heal and deliver us. Help us to always know Your name. In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

Thankful For Redemption
Today I am overwhelmed with thankfulness toward our Father for His gift of eternal life. He did not have to send His Son to die for us, but He did. He does not have to forgive us, but He does. He does not have to provide for us every day, but He does. All because of who He is. He is Yahuah (Lord) our Father.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Just this one promise from a loving Father overwhelms me. It makes me want to cry with joy and thankfulness.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King. We praise Your name Yahuah (Lord). Give us Your overwhelming provision today. Forgive us our sins and our speaking evil to each other and of each other. Heal us from the inside. Deliver us from those that would take from us what You have given to us. In Yeshua’s (Jesus) name. Amen.

Overcoming Fears Of Inadequacy
A friend of mine and I were speaking today. We were discussing the challenge that believers can face in wanting to serve God. It has always been common for me to pursue God and hope that I have a good enough day that God will still like me and want to be on my side. This thinking is a carry over from childhood for me where my earthly father was always critical of my performance and I was always trying to please him. While it may be an approach that many hold to I now realize that this is actually a lie. Nothing in our relationship with God begins with us. He is the one that called us. He is the One that will finish the work in us. It is because of Him that we are made whole and righteous. In this earth we will never be perfect. That said, yes, we are to strive to follow Him completely. But it is God who battles for us and gets us to the end.
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Our God is faithful He will defeat our enemies when we call out to Him as David did.
2 Chronicles 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.
What God wants from us is simple – us. He wants our hearts and our lives. He wants to be our God and for us to be His people.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
It is the Law in our hearts that is the new covenant. And our God, Yahuah (Lord), will fight for us to defend His Law in our hearts because He loves us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our God. We praise Your name, Yahuah (Lord). Send us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us when we sin against you. Heal up our hearts that we may know deep inside that it is about You and not about us. Deliver us from those that would steal from us what You have given to us. Destroy their works, and bless all the works of the hands of your people. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Making Today Better
In life we are given a fresh start by turning our lives over to God. This happens when we ask for forgiveness of our sin and ask Yeshua (Jesus) to be our Messiah, Lord over our life. That is an amazing day. But as we live our lives, we will continue to face challenges and there will be times when we miss the mark – we will sin. The path back to God is the same as the path to Him initially. We must repent of our sin, turning from it to God. He will help us to cleanse our hearts. This is what David did when he sinned against God.
Psalms 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
God will renew us. In fact, He offers us renewal everyday.
Lamentations 3:22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Our Father loves us. With His help we can make today better than yesterday. He wants us to know His love and His mercy everyday. If we will call out and praise the name Yahuah (Lord), He will hear and answer, every time, every day.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King. We need Your kingdom in our lives. We praise and lift on high the name of Yahuah (Lord). Give us Your abundant provision today. Forgive us for our sins against You. We want to follow You and Your ways, but we can mess that up. Forgive us and help us get back to Your path. Heal our hearts. Deliver us mightily from those that would take from us what You have given to us. Stop the evil that would steal from Your people. You alone are our help. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Gladness In Heart
In scriptures I enjoy reading David’s perspective on the challenges of life and his outlook in general. Like the rest of us he had down times and times of joy. In particular I think of some of the shorter psalms where he speaks of Jerusalem. It must have been an amazing thing to be returning there from a journey for him. He had no way of seeing it except to approach it. Any news was told him by messenger or he experienced it first hand. But the journey back there must have been one filled with anticipation. Here is one of those psalms.
Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.
Just like David, we can have the same feelings not only toward Jerusalem, but toward our God Yahuah (Lord). We can always be glad to cry out to Him and to spend time with Him. The great part about that is we do not need travel anywhere physically. We can reach out to Him and Him to us anywhere at any time. Praise Yahuah (Lord)!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Thank You for this day and for being our Mighty King. We praise Your name, Yahuah (Lord). Send us Your overwhelming provision today. Forgive us our sin. Heal Your people. Give us Your wisdom. Give us Your understanding. Let us know You more each day. Deliver us from those that would take from us what You have provided. Lead them to You as well. Let all men know that You alone are God. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Beyond What We See
Each of us has our own perspective on life and the world around us. There is more going on in this universe than what we can see for we stand in only one place. Our Father is not so. He sees all and watches over us. He is watching to see our hearts and minds, and works in our lives to move us toward Him.
Jeremiah 17:10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
But God is merciful. If our God Yahuah (Lord) were to fully recompence us for what we do, none of us would make it. But instead, He is full of mercy. David knew this and called out to Yahuah (Lord) for His mercy very often.
Psalms 109:21 But do thou for me, O God the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
26 Help me, O Lord my God: O save me according to thy mercy:
27 That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, Lord, hast done it.
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
30 I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
David did not lead the perfect life by any means. But he was still able to take comfort in knowing that God was with him He knew that God was watching out for him. And perhaps one of the most important points, Yahuah (Lord) our Father does these things for us because of who He is and for His mercy and His namesake, NOT because of who we are. Even when we think we are doing good, we are human with human struggles. We have done wrong, and will do wrong again because we are human. But if we will humble ourselves like David and praise Yahuah and turn to Him in prayer, He will continue to heal and deliver us.
We are His children and He loves us.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Today we pray to You and praise Your name Yahuah (Lord). We lift up our hands to You and cry out for Your mercy. We lift up our hearts to You and cry out for deliverance. Give us Your overwhelming abundance. Cause men to give overwhelmingly to us that we do not have room to store it all. Make all these things happen. You have said in Your scriptures that You will cause us to lend and not borrow. We call upon You today to bring that to pass quickly Yahuah (Lord) for we are poor and needy by comparison. Heal our broken hearts, and cast down those that would harm us in this state. Deliver us from those that would take from us what You have given to us. Shake the earth, shake them off Your people that we might be free. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.

Heart Toward God
Today has been another great day with Yahuah (Lord). He cause me to find my lost glasses, even though I was not dealing with it too well. It was interesting that although that was true, I was able to break out of my “funk” and begin to praise the name of Yahuah (Lord) in spite of how I felt about what was going on at the time. It reminded me of some of the scriptures we read today.
Jeremiah 16:21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord.
Here the word “Lord” is actually a name. It is God’s actual name, Yahuah (Lord). We are a people most blessed because we have a God that watches over us and calls us to be His own. Today I enjoy with my family and the brethren, the Sabbath as God has created it.
Jeremiah 17:20 And say unto them, Hear ye the word of the Lord, ye kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:
21 Thus saith the Lord; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
Lest us enjoy time with our Father today.
Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High. You alone are worthy, and we praise Your name, Yahuah (Lord). Give us Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our failures to follow You and Your ways. Heal us and deliver us. Show the world through Your treatment of us that You alone are King, that You alone are God. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
