Courage To Ask

Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me,
Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance,
And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron;
Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear,

Simple Instructions

Sometimes simple is best. This is simple.

Leviticus 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Considering The Times

Some days I find myself thinking about where we are at in the grand scheme of time. Then I consider if time is even real, or just a collective illusion of moments. These are deep subjects. For now, I choose to spend the moment considering myself in the light of YAH, and always wanting to do my best to serve Him.

Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Be Lifted Up…

In times of thanksgiving, we lift ourselves up to worship the King!

Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
And be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors;

The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.

Intentional Movement

There are very many things we can be about doing in life. And it is possible to just be led from one thing to another as they appear. On the other hand, there is also a case to be made for intentional movement and intentional actions. For me this is often true in the area of attempting to impact the spiritual realms of life. At this time in my life, I am focusing more on intentional movement. The others can happen as well, but I want to add my intent to moving the ball forward. We purposefully fight the good fight.

1 Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Yours To Pick Up

Have you ever felt like there was some part of your life or some plan perhaps that you made that fell apart? This is an event that has been true for me in my life on more than one occasion. And I have learned something over time about this. The pieces are mine to pick up. And there have been many times when I did not have the strength to do that. That is when I simply asked YAH to help me, and He did. He always makes the difference.

Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
To keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,
Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him,
And shew him my salvation.

Important To Observe

Often I find myself looking at life and trying to sort things out. Then I discover that I have let myself be caught up in one thing or another. Time to relax! Spending time with Father YAH allows me the feel the comfort of His presence. It is good.

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress:
My God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
And from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:

Pray For Others

As believers we need each other. One need is the prayers of fellow members of the faith. When we pray, our Father hears us and responds. We are encouraged to consider the needs of those that have need of assistance in whatever form that could potentially be. Pray.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
