Changing My Mind

This morning as I think about all that our Father tries to teach us, I marvel at how easy it is to not assemble all of the pieces into a coherent whole. Said another way, it seems odd that it can take so long for us to “get it.” And we never will get all of it, I don’t believe. Each of us has opportunity to get some part of the revelation that our Father has for all of us. So, here is what I assembled today. We are like these creative machines. We take in raw materials, sort through various inputs, and output “product” into the universe. What remains unseen to most of us is the losing battle that the devil is in trying to regain control of the earth that was given to him by Adam. I say losing battle because our Father has a plan, is executing that plan, and declared the end from the beginning.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

There is a victory planned that will come to pass. We, by our choices, can be a part of that or just go along for the ride. One of the ways we can be a part of the victory is to participate for the good in the battle. There is a cycle to the creation process. what ends up in our mind ends up in our heart, and what is in our heart ends up in our mind. Eventually, that will come out of our mouth.

Luke 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

The things we speak give us the power to do our Father’s work and change the universe. Paul quoted Moses to say that our wholeness comes from this power to speak and declare our future.

Romans 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

What Moses said was that the power to hear and do the Law was in our mouth. Paul has quoted Moses to show that that is a principle that works. Paul goes on in this same letter to say how important the mind is in this creative process.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And this work of transformation is done by our Messiah, when we let Him. In the letter to the Ephesians, Paul describes how Yeshuah (Jesus) does this work.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

The Messiah cleanse us by the “word” which here in the Greek is the word rhema which means utterance.

What we say matters very much. When we start our “machine” up with what we say, eventually that will be in our hearts and minds, coming back out of our mouths in power, and creating the universe.

Today, let us focus on only saying what the Father is saying, just as our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) did. We can change our minds.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here in this earth among us as it is in the heavens. Send us now Your overwhelming provision that it overflows to those around us. Forgive us our transgressions and trespasses, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed or trespassed against us. Cleanse our hearts and minds, wiping away any evil that has lodged itself there. Make it as if those things never existed, and replace them with thoughts and feelings of goodness from You. You alone can do these things Father. We are Yours, and this is Your kingdom. Rise up, O King, and strike at the heart of the enemy. Restore Your blessings upon Your people as Moses declared. Let the blood of Your Son, cover our transgressions, and restore us to the blessings that we might be blessed in all we do, lend and not borrow, be the head and not the tail, be blessed in our fields and the work of our hands. Magnify one hundredfold and return all that has been taken or held back in any way from Your people, restoring the new covenant, which is the Law written on our hearts and minds. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

What The Father Is Building

As believers we are to be edifying ourselves and each other. We are to be building up ourselves and each other.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

To do this we can follow the example of our Messiah, doing what He saw the Father doing.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

Just as our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus) did only what He saw the Father doing, likewise we should do the same. It does take time for us to do this – time in prayer, seeking our Father, and what He would have us both do and say.

If we can get ourselves motivated to move in that direction, we will see the things of God manifested in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. Bless the name Yahuah! You are our King! Let Your will be done among us here as it is in the heavens. Send us today Your overwhelming provision, Father, and manifest it among. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed and trespassed against us. Restore right relationships among Your people Father. Thoroughly cleanse our hearts and minds, totally eliminating all memories and thoughts of the evil done here fully, as if it had not existed. Let these spaces be filled with Your love, joy, and peace. Let us all heal from the inside out. Raise up those with sickness and disease unto full and complete recovery. Renew Your people Father. Restore that which the locust has eaten to a flourishing greater than we can imagine. Restore the substance and prosperity of Your people one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way. Help us, O King, help us Your children. Deliver us now. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

It Has Been Written

This is a powerful beginning to a statement made by our Messiah. Interestingly, the devil tried to use it as well. In both cases, the scriptures were being quoted. Why then was there only one that prevailed? Perhaps it is because of what scriptures are meant to be.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The purpose of the scriptures is to bring about the will of our Father. It was not His will that the enemy should prevail, but that we His children – mankind – should prevail. That there is great force in scripture is evident from the beginning.

Deuteronomy 4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you.
5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

And again.

Deuteronomy 6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

We see that we are given wisdom and understanding, and that the commandments are meant to help us possess the land. The scriptures and the doing of them mark us. There is more to be said here about the Passover and the dethroning of the spiritual darkness and the redemption from the curse that we might receive the blessing. But this is sufficient for now.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will, Father, be done in this earth just as it is in the heavens. Send us today, yes today, Your overwhelming provision such that it overflows to those around us. Forgive us our transgressions and trespasses, and help us all to be forgiving like You Father, forgiving those that have transgressed and trespassed against us. We declare cleansed hearts for our families and friends such that no shred of memory of evil remains, replaced by those good things that You have spoken. We declare healing in our hearts and minds. We declare healing in our physical bodies. Restore, my King, rise up and restore Your people. Restore the substance and all prosperity, showing us a sign for good that all men might know that You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Begin With Blessing

Here, at the first of the week, it is good to know that our Father is on our side. I take comfort in this knowledge, knowing that He never leaves us or forsakes us.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

How can we do anything, but give thanks and praise to our Father, Yahuah our Elohim? Let us begin this week with thanksgiving and praise.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here with us as it is with You in the heavens. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that it might overflow to those around us. Forgive us our transgressions and our trespasses, and help us to forgive those that have trespassed and transgressed against us. Cleanse and wipe away completely every evil thought or memory, that we might be healed and not be able to recall them. Restore hope within us all. Deliver us from evil, past, present, and future. Restore that which has been taken or held back in any way one hundredfold, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Voices Or Thunder?

On the Sabbath, it is a time of rest. It is also a time for us to minister one to another. How is it that we can do that? There are many ways, actually. There was a time when Yeshuah (Jesus) wanted to minister, that He called our to the Father to glorify Himself.

John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

We are also given direction on ministering to others. In the letter to the Ephesians, Paul instructed us to pray for others.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Here we see that we are to deliberately make utterance (rhema) which is the sword of the Spirit. We are given further instruction that in this case, that utterance is to be prayer in the Spirit (sounds we do not understand) for all of the believers. Paul talked of this type of prayer to the Corinthians.

1 Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Let us therefore on the Sabbath, and everyday, pray in the Spirit for all believers.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Your will in heaven, let it be here with us. Send us now Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us to forgive all those that have trespassed and transgressed against us. Cleanse completely our hearts and minds. Heal us from the inside out. Restore right relationships among us. Restore the years that have been eaten, and the substance, and all this one hundredfold, that all men might know that You alone are Yahuah our Elohim. We ask all these things in the name of the Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Making A Difference, Making A Change

What we experience in life comes from one source ultimately, and that one source is God. He created everything, therefore He is ultimately behind all that happens. That being said, our choices matter. There is a clear path He wants us to follow. That path will lead to life everlasting with Him. However, there are other paths we can take that are not His path that He has set for us. These other paths lead us away from Him. Pretty much everything we do is done by choice. We are free to make our own choices. These choices are made, moment by moment. Each choice either keeps us on His path, or moves us away from His path. Enough wrong choices and we begin to lose our way, the way toward Him, our Father. But He is always there, waiting for us to make a choice to return. And when we choose to return, He receives us with open arms, not regarding our bad choices.

Luke 15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

The story of the prodigal son is a great one to show us that our Father rejoices when we turn to Him. He does not remember the wrongs one we confess and repent. He does not keep a record of the wrongs we have done.

Psalms 130:3 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Instead, we see from the story, we receive a robe of righteousness, a ring fit for someone that is to be married, and the feet shod with the good news that the Father is on our side. The righteousness is as if we had always been with Him, keeping His commands. The ring is a signet of the kingdom. Then there are the shoes, which are King’s shoes to walk His path and declare we are His child. And the shoes are the keeping of the feasts that He has prepared for us.

Nahum 1:15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Today, let us all choose to walk His path, and to return when we are on different paths. He will receive us with open arms. We will keep a feast with Him.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here as it is in the heavens. Send us today Your overwhelming provision such that it overflows to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed and transgressed against us. We need Your help to forgive. Cleanse our hearts and minds. Wipe away memories of the evil such that we are like You, and have not even the slightest thought of these from the past. Deliver us, and renew Your Spirit within us. Restore the joy of Yeshuah, our salvation. Then we will teach many Your ways. We ask this same blessing for all those that have trespassed against us, or that we have harmed in any way. Let us unite in the unity of family, Father, Your family. Restore seven fold all that the enemy has taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. Give us the power to get wealth, and greatly fan that flame, that those that see us know that You alone have done this. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

In The Game

This morning as I was meditating on being thankful for something, it was difficult to choose. There are so many things in life for which my family and I are thankful. The one thing that stood out the most is that our Father never gives up on us. He is always right there to accept us when we turn to Him and try to get it right. When I played football in high school it was always good when the coach would call my name to put me in the game. It made me feel like in his eyes I had value. Our Father is so much better than that as He truly believes in us, even when we fail. He always takes us back on the team. He is always willing to put us in the game.

1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

In verse nine there is something I only saw this morning. It says He is “just” to forgive us, and cleanse us. Previously I mostly had considered His forgiveness as me begging and Him responding. This scripture makes a very different case to me. But if it is justice to forgive us, that is very different. It means that the rules (which are His rules) make it the right thing to do. Previously I would have thought that the devil had one up on me because I had to beg my Father to look the other way at my sin. Sin is a bad thing, yes, but if the rules say it is the right thing to forgive me, that is very different. That just reaffirms that the penalty has already been paid, and that it is legally and justifiably being applied to me. I am so thankful that our Messiah already paid the price for my sin, which is transgression of the Law. If I do not transgress the Law, then all the blessings are “due” me, and not the curses.

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Today, let us be quick to repent from transgressions and to our Father, and be thankful that He forgives us.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here, as it is there in the heavens. Send us today Your abundant blessing that we might bless others. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that trespass and transgress against us. Help us to not fall, but when we do, help us to call out to You, and lift us up. Cleanse our hearts and minds in a miraculous way, completely eliminating these thoughts and intents of evil without having to relive them. Deliver us Father. Restore the provisions that have been taken or held back seven fold. And more besides. Raise us up that we might lend and not borrow. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

When In Doubt, Speak Out

When the topic of spiritual warfare comes up, there almost always seems to be interest from believers. While I am uncertain why this is, it is good that we want to be involved, for the most part. I say this because scriptures tend to indicate that there is some type of “spiritual fighting” that we will face.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The word here for wrestle in the Greek means to first throw the opponent, then hold the opponent down with your hand upon their neck. What a great visual! We can become enamored with the power to overcome the enemy of our souls. However, our Messiah warns against this.

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

There is much to be said here, including that Satan fell from heaven, a high place. He was not already here. It is important to note, there was the caution at the end that we should not rejoice that the spirits were subject to us as believers, but that we should rejoice that our name is written in heaven. It is also important to note what was their assignment.

Luke 10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

This is also affirmed by the Ephesians scripture that we referenced. The only weapon mentioned is a sword.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Often we have heard that the sword of the Spirit, the word of God, is the bible. But according to this scripture, that is inaccurate. The Greek word translated here in English as “word” is rhema. It’s meaning is utterance. This utterance for warfare is further defined in the very next scripture.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Therefore if we come up against doubt, we can speak scripture, and we can also pray in the Spirit. Both will bring us to the enlightenment of our Father and His ways.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be here as it is with You in the heavens. Send us today Your overwhelming provision that we might extend it to those around us, thus demonstrating to them that You love them. Forgive us for our transgressions and trespasses, and help us all to forgive those that trespass against us. Wipe away bad memories such that we can never recall them again, cleansing and healing our hearts and minds. Restore seven fold all that has been taken or held back in any way by the wicked one. Let there be abundant provision in the house of Your servants that they lend and do not borrow. Let that begin today. Rise up, O King, and deliver Your people yet today. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Words As Bricks

Each day we get to work with our Father to build the moment. Our past is behind us, unchangeable. Our future is yet to be written, from our perspective. We can participate in that building. In fact, we will participate in the building of it by our words and actions. This is foretold in scripture.

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

This is a principle in scripture, over and over again. What we say and do builds the moments that become our past, pointing us toward the future. It is important that we speak and do the things that the Father has in front of us. This is what our Messiah did.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

We are meant to be like our Messiah, Yeshuah (Jesus). Let us speak and do the things that the Father does speak and do.

Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here among us. Send us today Your overwhelming provision such that it overflows to those around us. Forgive us our trespasses and transgressions, and help us all to forgive those that have trespassed and transgressed against us. Cleanse and purify our hearts and minds such that no thought or memory of past evil remains. Instead, in the new cleaned space, place thoughts of You and Your love toward us. Restore Your substance that You have declared is ours, delivering us from the evil that steals, kills, and destroys. Restore one hundredfold all that has been taken or held back in any way, and the more besides. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.

Always There

No matter what we face in life, we can take heart, we can take comfort, in knowing that our Father is always there for us. This can present certain challenges for us as believers because it takes faith. Faith is defined for us in scripture.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

We see here that faith is the substance (known and accepted reality that we feel) of things hoped for (expected) so much that it is evidence to us that it exists. This is the meaning from verse one. Verse six tells us that we believe that God exists and that He is on our side taking action. If we have some challenge before us, then if we will spend time with the Father addressing this point until we have this kind of faith toward the issue, we will sense the comfort that God is with us in it.

Perhaps the bigger challenge is when things are good, remembering that it was the Father that made them so, and thanking Him for it. In both cases we can get so caught up in the moment that we forget that we are not alone. We can forget that He is always there for us to call upon.

Today let’s be comforted in knowing our Father is with us, no matter what we face, the good or the bad.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King! Praise the name Yahuah! Let Your will be done here, Father, as it is with You in the heavens. Send us now Your provision. Forgive us for our transgressions and trespasses, and help us all to forgive those that have transgressed or trespassed against us. Cleanse our hearts and minds, wiping away the bad thoughts and memories that plague us until it is as if they never happened. Fill the empty space left behind with thoughts of You and of Your love. Deliver us from the present evil. Restore substance unto Your people, all that has been taken, lost, or held back in any way. We ask all these things in the name of our Messiah Yeshuah (Jesus). Amen.
